Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a key partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games worldwide, unveiled today the Olympic Edition of its newly announced Galaxy Z Flip6. This special edition, exclusively crafted for athletes competing at the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, marks a continuation of Samsung’s longstanding commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and mobile innovations in support of these global events.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition introduces several pioneering features. It is the first Olympic Edition to incorporate Galaxy AI, designed to enhance the Games-time experience for athletes from their arrival in Paris. Pre-loaded with exclusive services and useful apps, it also sets a precedent as the first Samsung product available to athletes before its official market launch. During the Olympic Games, it will make history as the first Olympic Edition smartphone to play a significant role on the podium.

Sporting a compact, versatile design in striking yellow with gold accents of the Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos, the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition reflects a collaboration with Parisian Men’s Luxury Maison, Berluti. Together, they have created a unique Flipsuit Case made from Venezia leather, inspired by the vibrant colors of the Olympic rings, celebrating the spirit and values of excellence and unity.

Athletes can also leverage Galaxy AI for competition preparation, creativity enhancement, and capturing memorable moments at Paris 2024. Features like Instant Slow-mo and Photo Assist ensure they can document and analyze their performances effectively, while additional benefits like a 100GB 5G eSIM and complimentary public transport access further enhance their experience in the city.

For the first time in Olympic and Paralympic history, Samsung will enable athletes to use the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition on the podium at Paris 2024, allowing them to capture personal moments like victory selfies. These photos will be sorted and shared in real-time via Athlete365, offering athletes a unique opportunity to connect with their supporters worldwide.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition will be showcased at Olympic™ rendezvous @ Samsung locations, including Champs-Elysees 125, starting July 12. Athletes will receive their Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition devices from Samsung beginning July 18, in collaboration with the IOC and IPC.
