Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest offerings today at Galaxy Unpacked in Paris, showcasing the all-new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 alongside the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Earlier this year, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI, marking a significant leap forward in mobile artificial intelligence. With the launch of the new Galaxy Z series, Samsung aims to elevate the role of AI in mobile technology, leveraging its versatile foldable designs to enhance a variety of user experiences.

The Galaxy Z series represents Samsung’s commitment to innovation in form factor and functionality. These devices are the slimmest and lightest in the Galaxy Z lineup, prioritizing portability without compromising durability. The symmetrical design and straight edges give them a sophisticated look, complemented by a redesigned cover screen ratio on the Galaxy Z Fold6 for a more natural viewing experience. Enhanced structural features, including a dual rail hinge and reinforced folding edge, ensure greater resilience against external impacts, while advanced materials like Armor Aluminum and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® enhance durability further.

Underpinning these design advancements is powerful performance driven by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. This cutting-edge processor delivers unmatched CPU, GPU, and NPU capabilities, optimized for AI processing and graphics-intensive applications. The Galaxy Z Fold6 incorporates a larger vapor chamber for enhanced cooling, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 introduces a vapor chamber for the first time, ensuring sustained peak performance.

The Samsung Keyboard introduces a Composer feature that generates suggested text based on keywords, tailored for emails and supported social media platforms. For social media usage, the Composer analyzes previous posts to replicate the user’s tone effectively. Additionally, the S Pen experience on the Galaxy Z Fold6 is enhanced through integration with Galaxy AI. The all-new Sketch to Image feature enables users to create sophisticated artworks by generating image options directly from sketches or drawings on photos within the Gallery or Note screen.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 transforms how users engage in work, play, and information consumption through Samsung’s collaboration with Google. The latest Google Gemini app is fully integrated into the new Galaxy Z series, functioning as a personal AI assistant directly on the phone. Accessing Gemini is intuitive—simply swipe the screen’s corner or use voice commands like “Hey Google” to summon its overlay for tasks such as writing, learning, or planning. Integrated with popular Google apps, Gemini simplifies tasks like organizing travel itineraries with real-time flight and hotel updates via Google Maps for navigation and sightseeing.

Watching YouTube on the Galaxy Z Fold6’s expansive screen becomes interactive with Gemini’s overlay in split-screen mode, enabling instant queries about K-pop music videos by long-pressing the home button and tapping the screen. Galaxy AI on the Galaxy Z Fold6 enhances communication accessibility with its unique dual-screen form factor. Interpreter now features a conversation mode displayed on both main and cover screens for natural, two-way translations during interactions, or one-way translations for listening comprehension during lectures or presentations. Live Translate extends real-time phone call translations beyond Samsung’s native app to popular third-party applications.

The AI-powered ProVisual Engine elevates creative possibilities on the Galaxy Z Fold6, from capturing and editing to viewing content. Photo Assist on the large screen streamlines professional-grade content creation, while Portrait Studio offers various portrait styles like 3D cartoon or watercolor. Instant Slow-mo enhances video enjoyment by smoothly slowing down recordings with additional frames, ensuring detailed viewing experiences. Users can easily save and share videos with friends and family.

For gaming enthusiasts, the Galaxy Z Fold6 enhances the gaming experience with a powerful chipset and a 1.6x larger vapor chamber for extended gaming sessions without performance degradation. Ray Tracing technology supports vivid, lifelike graphics on the 7.6-inch display, which offers up to 2,600nit brightness for immersive gameplay.

The 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow on the Galaxy Z Flip6 has been enhanced to support AI-assisted functions without needing to fully open the device. For seamless communication on-the-go, users can reply to messages with Suggested Replies, which analyzes recent messages to suggest personalized responses. Galaxy AI maximizes the utility of this pocket-sized device, integrating these convenient features into the FlexWindow interface. FlexWindow also provides access to Samsung Health updates and notifications, allows control over music playback via the widget, and supports a wider array of widgets for simultaneous information display.

Customization options are integral to the Galaxy Z Flip6 experience. AI-powered Photo Ambient dynamically adjusts wallpapers based on time and weather conditions, ensuring a cohesive visual experience. Screen layout suggestions based on wallpaper analysis optimize aesthetics by adjusting clock placement and frame colors.

Innovative features extend beyond the FlexWindow. FlexCam enhances versatility with Auto Zoom, which intelligently frames shots by detecting subjects and adjusting zoom levels automatically. The addition of new 50MP Wide and 12MP Ultra-wide sensors improves photo clarity and detail, supporting 2x optical zoom for noise-free images and AI zoom capabilities up to 10x. Enhanced Nightography with video HDR enables capturing vibrant videos in low-light conditions, now integrated within popular social media apps like Instagram for seamless sharing.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 incorporate Samsung Knox, a defense-grade security platform that ensures comprehensive protection against vulnerabilities and safeguards critical data with end-to-end hardware encryption and real-time threat detection. Users maintain full control over their data’s involvement in AI enhancements through Galaxy AI settings, bolstered by Enhanced Data Protection which secures data with end-to-end encryption during backup, sync, and restoration via Samsung Cloud. Additional security features include Knox Vault, Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, passkeys, Secure Wi-Fi, and Private sharing in Quick Share, providing robust protection across various functionalities.

Samsung reinforces its commitment to sustainability with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, integrating recycled materials such as gold, copper, plastics, aluminum, and glass. This initiative aligns with Samsung’s broader sustainability efforts introduced earlier in the Galaxy S24 series, incorporating recycled minerals like cobalt and rare earth elements. Packaging for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 is crafted from 100% recycled paper material, underscoring Samsung’s dedication to reducing environmental impact. The devices are designed to support seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates, ensuring longevity and reducing electronic waste.

The Galaxy Buds3 series enhances communication experiences with Galaxy AI. Users attending classes in foreign languages can utilize Interpreter in Listening mode on the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6 with the Galaxy Buds3 series, providing real-time translations directly through the earbuds. Voice commands simplify music control without physical interaction with the earbuds or connected devices. Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC technologies optimize sound quality and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) based on real-time analysis of internal and external sounds, ensuring an optimal listening experience. Galaxy Buds3 Pro features Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect functionalities that automatically adjust noise levels and sound settings for enhanced convenience.

Based on extensive statistical data, the Galaxy Buds3 series introduces a computational design focused on ergonomic comfort. Featuring a premium blade design with Blade Lights, these earbuds cater to style-conscious users seeking a sleek and modern aesthetic. The intuitive physical controls allow users to manage the device effortlessly through simple pinching or swiping gestures on the blade, combining convenience with tasteful design elements. The Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro are available in two distinct designs: Canal Type for immersive sound experiences (Buds3 Pro) and Open Type for versatile use over extended periods (Buds3).

Galaxy Buds3 Pro enhances audio quality with advanced hardware components. It includes enhanced 2-way speakers with planar tweeters for precise high-frequency sound reproduction, along with Dual Amplifiers for clear audio output on the move. The Ultra High Quality Audio support with doubled sampling rate via SSC codec ensures high-resolution audio fidelity, delivering detailed sound reproduction. This enhanced audio quality extends to phone calls, facilitated by a machine learning-based model that restores the speaker’s original voice in various noise environments, complemented by the Super-Wideband Call feature for natural, high-quality calls akin to those on smartphones.

In addition to delivering premium audio experiences, the Galaxy Buds3 series prioritizes sustainability. Components in both the earbuds and cradle incorporate recycled plastics sourced from discarded fishing nets or water barrels, aligning with Samsung’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Each Galaxy Buds3 series package utilizes 100% recycled paper material for reduced environmental impact.

The Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Buds3 series are now available for pre-order starting July 10, with general availability beginning on July 24. The Galaxy Z Fold6 comes in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy color options, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 offers Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue, and Mint colors, with additional exclusive colors such as Crafted Black, White, and Peach available for online orders at Samsung.com, allowing users to choose a style that suits their preferences.
