Café Swarovski Returns to Ginza for a Crystal-Bright Christmas

This holiday season, Swarovski turns its Ginza flagship into a glittering seasonal retreat. From Wednesday, October 28 through Friday, December 25, 2026, café SWAROVSKI opens its doors for a limited run, inviting guests to taste the magic of Christmas through a curated menu of sweets and drinks.

Where the 2025 edition glowed in yellow gold, this year belongs to green. Furnishings, floral arrangements and desserts alike unfold in a spectrum of verdant shades, each touched by the brilliance of Swarovski crystal for a setting that feels both romantic and richly layered.

The experience begins at the entrance, where a Christmas tree dressed in green and silver ornaments greets arriving guests. A crystal-embellished staircase leads to the second floor, where the café gathers around a second, grander tree. Every corner is composed with photographs in mind, making the room as well suited to a quiet coffee with friends as to oshi-katsu, the Japanese pastime of celebrating a favorite celebrity or character.

The desserts come from Hideki Eto, head pastry chef at PAYSAGE, the Daikanyama patisserie. His sweets echo the look of precious green gemstones, and each plate reads as a small jewel in its own right.

The Café Swarovski Set serves as the menu’s centerpiece, offered in a limited quantity of ten servings each day. It brings together a pistachio tart, a cookie sandwich and matcha scones, along with savory bites, so guests can sample the full range of the season’s green palette in a single sitting.

The Matcha Opera, marked with the Swarovski logo, takes its inspiration from the radiance of crystal. Fragrant layers of matcha lend depth and a gentle, pleasing bitterness, softened by a mellow cream delicately infused with yuzu. Each bite unfolds in beautifully distinct layers.

The Swan Cake Set is equally elegant, dressed in chocolate shaped to suggest a swan’s feathers and finished with delicate silver leaf. Beneath the surface, yuzu-scented mascarpone cream, green apple jelly and pistachio biscuit are wrapped in a cheese mousse, then sealed beneath a translucent muscat grape glaze. The result is light and refreshing, balancing the bright tartness of fruit against the nutty perfume of pistachio.

Among the drinks, the crystal-clear green mocktail, named “Joy: The Musical,” stands out. Fresh kiwi and lemon juice meet the fragrant softness of La France pear in a glass as luminous as the room itself. The list also includes Austrian sparkling wine, coffee and tea, allowing each guest to find the ideal companion for their chosen dessert.

Beyond the table, the café offers a rare glimpse of fashion at its most dazzling. Swarovski looks from the 2025 Met Gala are on display, giving visitors the chance to admire intricate, crystal-encrusted designs up close, including pieces worn by international models Alex Consani, Sora Choi and Adut Akech.

Throughout the store, a festive collection of Christmas ornaments and decorative objects extends the seasonal mood. Snowmen, Santa Claus, gingerbread figures and snowflakes are reimagined with the signature sparkle of Swarovski crystal, each one charming enough to lift the spirits on sight. They make thoughtful gifts for loved ones, or a well-deserved treat for oneself.
