Sting is coming back to Las Vegas, and he is traveling light. The musician, who has won 17 Grammys, will open a new residency called “STING 3.0” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Thursday, March 4, 2027. Announced by The Cherrytree Music Company, Live Nation, and Caesars Entertainment, the run follows his hugely successful “STING 3.0” World Tour and returns him to the venue where his “My Songs” residency drew 22 sold out shows between 2021 and 2023.
What to Expect From STING 3.0
The show strips his catalog down to its essentials. Sting performs with longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, whose credits include Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers. Together they form a tight, hard hitting trio that gives his best known songs new muscle while keeping his voice and songwriting at the center.
The format suits a career built on reinvention. Sting has spent decades pushing past expectations, both as a solo artist and as the frontman, bassist, and chief songwriter of The Police, and “STING 3.0” reflects that restless streak with fresh takes on songs fans know by heart.
The STING 3.0 LIVE Album
The tour also produced a new record, STING 3.0 LIVE, now available digitally, on CD, and on 180g vinyl. Under the management of Martin Kierszenbaum and Cherrytree Music Company, the album captures ten songs from the road, including the first live recording of “Be Still My Beating Heart” ever released. It also includes a live version of “Fragile,” his 1987 single, which a children’s choir performed in an episode of the Netflix miniseries Adolescence.
