Studio City Macau’s Halloween Escape Room Returns With a Serial Killer’s Subconscious to Crack

Studio Creepy is back for a third year, and this time the scares come with a ticking clock. Studio City Macau’s Halloween event runs every Friday to Sunday from October 9 to November 22, 2026, blending suspenseful storytelling, special effects makeup, mechanical installations, and interactive gameplay into a cinematic horror escape challenge.

The Premise

Guests are not just watching this year. They play investigators racing against mounting fear and a shrinking countdown to find the only truth. The story opens with a citywide manhunt reignited by an unsolved case. Notorious serial killer “K” has slipped into a coma, taking the whereabouts of his final victim with him. Players are sent into his fractured subconscious, a crumbling maze of twisted memories and hidden threats. When the clock hits zero, only those who keep their cool long enough to solve the final mystery will make it out before being consumed.

The Production

True to Studio City’s film-minded DNA, the narrative, spatial design, lighting, sound effects, and character makeup are all orchestrated to tighten the tension. Hong Kong special effects makeup artist Gary Chan, whose film credits include Port of Call and Colony, joins the production with his team to create the characters. Cinematic creature designs, striking visual effects, and custom mechanical installations from the art and costume teams build an environment that feels like a thriller unfolding in real time.

Where to Eat

The Halloween theme carries over to the plate from October 24 to November 1. Gala, Joyride Diner, and Spotlight will serve limited-time menus created by the resort’s culinary team, from visually striking mains and playful bites to mysterious desserts and drinks, all with a spooky, inventive edge.

Make a Night of It

From October 23 to November 1, guests who show a same-day Studio Creepy 3 ticket at the Studio City Cinema box office can buy a second ticket for selected movies at MOP60. It is an easy way to follow the screams with a film.

Whether you are an adrenaline seeker, a puzzle lover, or a group of friends and family looking for a night out, the resort has a way in.
