Soleil by Claude: A Mediterranean Summer Pop-Up at The Peninsula London

This July and August, The Peninsula London will introduce Soleil by Claude, a seasonal dining concept set to bring Mediterranean flair to the heart of Belgravia. Located on the hotel’s eighth-floor terrace, the pop-up will temporarily take over the space usually occupied by Brooklands by Claude Bosi, the hotel’s two Michelin-starred restaurant.

Conceived by Chef Director Claude Bosi, Soleil by Claude offers a relaxed rooftop dining experience inspired by the flavours and spirit of Southern Europe. Available from 2 July to 31 August 2025, the concept will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus focused on sharing plates, seasonal ingredients, and British-sourced produce. Guests can enjoy views across the city during morning meals, leisurely afternoon lunches, and summer evenings accompanied by golden hour cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired dinners.

The setting has been reimagined to evoke the charm of Europe’s sun-drenched coastlines, complete with open-air seating and a weekend DJ from Friday through Sunday to enhance the relaxed summer ambience.

Menus will showcase a range of Mediterranean dishes crafted with premium British ingredients. Highlights include Polpo Carpaccio, seafood platters featuring the UK’s finest shellfish, a weekly-changing basket of crudités sourced from local farms, and generous sharing plates such as seven-hour braised lamb shoulder with Nicoise sauce. Other offerings include fresh pasta, flambeed sea bass in a salt crust for two, and desserts like Baked Alaska made with just-picked fruits and a rustic seasonal fruit tarte.

The terrace will also feature a Pétanque pit, sponsored by Minuty, bringing a touch of the Riviera to central London. The drinks selection will feature a curated list of rosé wines, a bespoke cocktail menu designed for the pop-up, and an updated Spritz selection.

Following the conclusion of the pop-up, Brooklands by Claude Bosi will reopen on 5 September 2025 with a new autumn menu.

Opening Dates and Times
Soleil by Claude will operate daily from 2 July to 31 August 2025.
