Lake Yamanaka is known as the sacred place of Mount Fuji because it can be seen for a longer period than other observation sites.  In addition, the average temperature in winter is 0 to 2 degrees Celsius, making it a cold environment. From October 20th to November 30th, 2022, Hoshinoya Fuji will offer outdoor food and wine experience where you can enjoy sake on the terrace floating on the lake in front of Mount Fuji.

The resort will offer “Katsunuma Jozo” on the outdoor terrace, one of Yamanashi Prefecture’s leading wineries. Sparkling wine is made from Koshu, a grape variety unique to Japan.  Small plates will be served along with the wine.  On the terrace, there are not only tables and chairs, but also blankets to keep you warm.
