The legendary Le Ciro’s, a cornerstone of Deauville’s jet-set dining scene since 1920, is now bringing its storied charm to the French Riviera. Nestled on the iconic beach of the Majestic in Cannes, the restaurant offers a distinctive blend of maritime-inspired cuisine and sophisticated seaside ambiance.

April 9th marks a bold new chapter for this esteemed establishment, as it transitions from the Atlantic shores to the sun-drenched coast of the Mediterranean. Known for delighting seafood aficionados for over a century, Le Ciro’s now shares its unique aura with Cannes, elevating the city’s culinary landscape.

The design, envisioned by Jordane Arrivetz, immerses diners in a radiant, Mediterranean-inspired world. A yachting aesthetic sets the tone, celebrating the essence of French art de vivre. The wood-decked terrace, reminiscent of classic Riva boats, features a crisp blue-and-white palette that echoes the sea beyond. Inside, the dining room is adorned with white relief frescoes, striped fabrics, shells, and intricate marine motifs—each detail a tribute to the timeless elegance of vintage yachts.

At its heart, Le Ciro’s remains a celebration of exquisite flavours. In Deauville, the restaurant earned its legendary status by enchanting icons of cinema and fashion—from Jean Gabin and Catherine Deneuve to Françoise Sagan and Yves Saint Laurent. Now, in Cannes, it is poised to captivate a new generation of celebrities, especially those attending the prestigious events and film festival along the Riviera.

Helmed by Chef Gabriella Stocker—whose experience includes Michelin-starred kitchens in Madrid and London—the spring menu is a vibrant homage to Mediterranean seafood. Highlights include fresh raw fish selections, lobster linguine, whole fish sourced from daily auctions, and beloved beach staples such as the signature lobster roll and Caesar salad.

Completing the experience, the Majestic’s pastry chef Nicolas Maugard presents a tempting array of desserts. Standouts include Baked Alaska with raspberries, a Madagascan vanilla Tropézienne, Carros strawberries, and a praline millefeuille made with Piedmont hazelnuts. Long-time fans of Le Ciro’s will be pleased to see the return of its iconic dessert traditions: the overflowing basket of fresh fruit and the bucket of warm, mini madeleines.

More than just a restaurant, Le Ciro’s at the Majestic is a destination—an elegant tribute to the pleasures of French coastal living. Whether for a sunlit lunch, a starlit dinner, or a sunset cocktail, every visit promises a moment of timeless Riviera magic.
