Infused with the essence of Kyoto’s serene gardens, the hotel’s interior design beautifully harmonizes art and natural materials. Guests are greeted by a striking moon-shaped brass art piece upon entering the lobby, while the all-day dining restaurant, OPEN, showcases screens adorned with traditional monochrome paintings that encapsulate Kyoto’s local culture. Guest rooms exude a welcoming ambiance with gentle light filtering through traditional shoji screens, and the inclusion of low beds not only offers comfort but also a taste of Japanese architectural finesse.

Among the selection of five distinct guest room types, the “Japanese Room” stands out, paying homage to Kyoto’s culture. This category comprises 46 rooms fashioned after authentic Japanese living spaces, complete with traditional tatami mats. Furthermore, two suites spanning 61 square meters each feature private saunas and rain showers. These suites are adorned with local artwork, including tea utensils crafted by a Kyoto sculptor, fabric art from Nishijin (Kyoto’s renowned weaving district), and sculptures inspired by the flowing Kamo River. All guest rooms are equipped with bathtubs to ensure relaxation after a day of exploration.
