Children’s Brunch with Tartine et Chocolat

From November 27, 2022, to January 1, 2023, Le Lobby’s signature Sunday brunch will be held in partnership with Tartine et Chocolat, an iconic children’s fashion brand known for its French refinement, offering a delightful experience for families. Children can partake in all manner of fun, holiday-themed activities (writing letters to Santa Claus, making wreaths, storytelling). Parents, meanwhile, can enjoy classic brunch specialties, along with cocktails and festive live music performances.

Christmas Day Brunch

On Sunday, December 25, The Peninsula Paris welcomes guests and visitors to enjoy an exceptionally lavish brunch, arranged across the entire ground floor of the hotel and against the backdrop of its splendid Christmas tree. The brunch will feature numerous serving stations offering savoury and sweet preparations – including house-made pastries, a variety of egg dishes, and festive creations such as roasted Perche chicken with cardamom, black truffle, and butternut tagliatelle; aiguillette of sea bass in white butter sauce with champagne; and rack of veal with wild mushrooms. There will also be a fully stocked seafood counter, and a salumeria serving an assortment of Italian specialities. In honour of the occasion, the chefs at LiLi, the hotel’s chic Chinese restaurant, will also offer a selection of its flagship dishes. On the sweet side, diners can choose from an array of marvellous creations made by celebrated pastry chef Anne Coruble, including fine pastries, a chocolate fountain with marshmallow bears, and a creperie.

Festive Afternoon Tea

When the air grows cooler, the night falls more quickly, and the aromas of cinnamon and fir float through the air, visitors to The Peninsula Paris know that the season for the much-loved Festive Afternoon Tea has arrived. An elegant Le Lobby tradition among both guests and local residents, this elegant afternoon gathering offers holiday-themed delicacies, perfectly poured tea, scones with jam and clotted cream, and signature cocktails in the gorgeously decorated setting enhanced by live jazz performers.

Decadent Truffles and Holiday Dinners at Le Lobby

Between November 27 and December 30, 2022, Chefs David Bizet and Baptiste Leroux will offer a special menu in which every dish – from starter to dessert – features the exquisite flavour of truffles. Smoked scallops and pine nut truffle praline, potato pie, roasted foie gras and truffled cream, caramelized hazelnut with truffles and other delicious dishes can be enjoyed in a festive atmosphere.

On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy the chefs’ sumptuous, specially created holiday menu, with dishes like potato pie and roasted foie gras with smoked cream; scallops browned with liquorice; and Perche chicken with black truffle and parsnip purée. For dessert, a zéphir cazette (a light Burgundy hazelnut emulsion) accompanied by ice cream and a conifer praline will be served.

On New Year’s Eve, Le Lobby will come alive with the sounds of a cool jazz trio, while diners enjoy splendid dishes like lobster carpaccio with caramelized grapes and Imperial caviar, roasted truffles and celery risotto with Champagne sauce, beef tenderloin with pear à la flamme and jus au vin. For dessert, grilled and candied grapefruit, paired with hibiscus granita and a foam of rosé Champagne, refreshes and delights.

As the countdown to the new year approaches, an eight-person festive swing band will perform to ignite the holiday spirit – and get diners out of their seats and onto the dance floor.

Festive Chinese Gastronomy at LiLi

For Christmas Eve, Cantonese cuisine takes the spotlight at LiLi with a festive menu from Chef Taklau Yuen and Chef David Bizet. A special selection of “four-handed” dim sum will be followed by wonton soup with black truffle; steamed line-caught turbot in a lotus leaf; and sautéed beef fillet with a black-truffle lacquer, caramelized vegetables, and sticky rice with foie gras. A light dessert à la cazette offers a grace note to end the meal.

A seven-course variation on this special menu will also be served at LiLi on New Year’s Eve.

Michelin-Starred Cuisine at L’Oiseau Blanc**

From November 27 to December 30, 2022, lovers of haute cuisine can savour an intoxicating four-course special menu at L’Oiseau Blanc for lunch or dinner. The dishes include several truffle-infused preparations from Chef David Bizet and the signature Tahitian vanilla-and-tobacco-leaf dessert of Pastry Chef Anne Coruble, which was awarded the 2022 Lebey prize.

On Christmas Eve, Chef Bizet will serve a magnificent five-course tasting menu featuring the most exceptional seasonal ingredients. The gastronomic flight will begin with wild-caught blue lobster, followed by leeks in a truffled salt crust, scallops served with a marinière of fine shellfish, and a Perche pullet paired with lacquered artichoke. Dessert – frosted Hesperides, accompanied by a delicate mandarin concentrate and a flowery vinaigrette – makes a fine finish for this meal, which will also be served for Christmas Day lunch.

The two-Michelin-starred L’Oiseau Blanc will also offer an unforgettable tasting menu on New Year’s Eve featuring preparations of Imperial caviar, black truffle, milk-skinned turbot, Venison à la Royale, and many other rarefied ingredients. Champagne will also be served to ring in the new year.
