At Waldorf Astoria Osaka, an afternoon tea created in collaboration with Tiffany & Co. titled A Legacy of Elegance will be available through January 31, 2026. Marking its first Christmas season since opening in April 2025, the hotel is transformed with glittering décor and warm illumination evocative of a Manhattan winter, inviting guests into the refined, celebratory world synonymous with the New York–born Waldorf Astoria brand.

From Christmas through the New Year, the hotel’s iconic lounge and bar, Peacock Alley, presents its signature afternoon tea in a special seasonal expression. Developed with Tiffany, another emblem of New York heritage, A Legacy of Elegance offers an exquisitely composed selection of sweets and savories that balance visual artistry with nuanced flavor.

Among the sweets are a bergamot-scented vanilla mousse, the New Caledonian Vanilla Bean Coussin, finished in an elegant yellow palette, and an Opera cake of Japanese black tea and apple inspired by tarte Tatin. The presentation is completed with Waldorf Astoria Osaka’s signature Red Velvet Cheesecake, a dessert that has quickly become a hallmark of the hotel.

The savory selection is equally indulgent. Highlights include the lobster roll, generously filled and served on buttery brioche, a favorite from the à la carte menu, alongside a savory financier made with WA Ossetra caviar and Calpis butter, and a refined quiche royale of Kasumi crab and pumpkin. Each item reflects a sense of quiet luxury and seasonal abundance.

Beginning December 13, 2025, afternoon tea service will be extended until 8 p.m., allowing guests to linger into the evening and enjoy the hotel’s illuminated nighttime ambiance.

The collaboration also introduces a selection of cocktails. The Bird, inspired by the iconic Tiffany Blue, is presented as an elegant libation adorned with a peacock motif. Gifted Wrapped, a drink designed to evoke the thrill of opening Tiffany’s signature box, is offered both as a cocktail and a mocktail, ensuring the experience remains inclusive and celebratory.

The Waldorf Astoria Osaka and Tiffany collaboration runs from November 21, 2025, to January 31, 2026, and takes place on the 29th floor at Lounge and Bar Peacock Alley. The A Legacy of Elegance afternoon tea is priced at ¥13,000 per person, with an optional two additional menu items available for ¥4,000. From December 23 to 25, a special menu version is offered at ¥17,000. New York Holiday cocktails are priced from ¥3,500. All prices include a 15 percent service charge.

Reservations are required by the day prior and can be made via the hotel’s main telephone line. Menu items and service hours are subject to change without notice.
