TheTake, a leading provider of AI-powered shoppable TV technology, has announced strategic partnerships with LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. These collaborations mark a major advancement in the interactive television space, enhancing TheTake’s reach and capabilities while reinforcing its position as a key innovator in shoppable TV experiences.

With an existing multiplatform footprint of 32 million devices and robust user engagement in 2024, these new partnerships signify a substantial leap forward for AI-driven shopping on connected TVs.

LG Electronics Introduces ‘Click to Search’ Feature

LG Electronics showcased its new ‘Click to Search’ functionality, powered by TheTake’s AI technology. This innovative feature allows users to identify and shop for products or people appearing on screen by simply clicking them using the LG Magic Remote. Transactions are streamlined through LG’s webOS Pay system, providing a seamless and secure shopping experience for viewers.

Samsung Electronics Unveils Shoppable TV Enhancements

Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with TheTake, revealed an array of cutting-edge features to enrich shoppable TV experiences:

  • Trending TV Shopping: Samsung users can discover and purchase trending products featured in popular linear and streaming programs directly on their smart TVs.
  • Enhanced Daily+ and Daily Board Interfaces: These proprietary Samsung interfaces deliver immersive shopping experiences and give brands opportunities to engage high-intent consumers in premium connected TV (CTV) environments.

These alliances build on the company’s recent partnerships with DAZN, a global sports streaming platform, and emerging smart TV manufacturer Telly, further establishing its leadership in interactive commerce.
