Cathédrale, a French-Mediterranean restaurant from Tao Group Hospitality, is set to open its doors in Las Vegas on May 1 at the ARIA Resort & Casino. The new restaurant pays tribute to the flagship Cathédrale located in New York City’s Lower East Side, honoring its legacy and DNA.

The restaurant’s menu, created by Executive Chef Jason Hall and helmed by Tao Group Hospitality’s Chief Culinary Officer Ralph Scamardella, features elemental, ingredient-driven dishes influenced by the coastal regions of France, Spain, Italy, and Greece. Signature dishes include The Omelette, Whole Dover Sole with lemon caper butter, Clos Ste Magdeleine Rosé, and a 22-ounce Prime Aged Ribeye. Tableside highlights include a Salt Baked Mediterranean Sea Bass and Crêpes Suzette for two.

Designed by the globally renowned architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, the 266-seat restaurant features a dramatic space envisioned as an undiscovered urban landmark. Guests will arrive through blue velour cascading drapery, revealing a tunnel with flickering candles and carved artwork by artist Vhils. The lounge area features a sculptural metal beaded chain canopy, while the main dining room boasts blue leather banquettes and a theatrical and monumental ceiling installation.
