In a significant announcement, Las Vegas, renowned globally as a premier dining destination, is set to host The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards in 2024. The city’s unmatched culinary landscape, featuring celebrated restaurants and distinguished chefs, will be showcased during the prestigious event, scheduled for June.

The annual event, a fixture since 2002, brings together top-tier chefs, media, restaurateurs, and culinary icons to acknowledge excellence in the industry. This year, Las Vegas takes the spotlight as the chosen host destination for the first time.

Steve Hill, the President/CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, expressed excitement, stating, “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants recognizes Las Vegas as a global culinary destination and has selected us as the official host destination for the 2024 awards.” He highlighted the dynamic evolution of the city’s culinary scene and the enthusiasm to present it to culinary leaders worldwide.

S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna is sponsoring the celebration, featuring a series of epicurean activities spanning five days. The culmination will be the awards ceremony on June 5, 2024, hosted at Wynn Las Vegas.

William Drew, Director of Content for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, praised the partnership with Las Vegas, stating, “We can think of no better partners to bring next year’s awards ceremony to life.” The global restaurant community is eagerly anticipated to gather in the Entertainment Capital of the World to celebrate gastronomic excellence.

Various world-class hotels, including Wynn Las Vegas, Resorts World Las Vegas, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, will host the epicurean celebration. Key events encompass #50BestTalks, a thought-leadership forum; 50 Best Signature Sessions, featuring chefs cooking alongside local talent; a Chefs’ Feast, showcasing Las Vegas’s fine cooking and entertainment; and a 50 Best educational event, bringing together renowned chefs and local culinary students.

The celebration not only offers a platform to explore Las Vegas’s world-class dining but also promises thrilling entertainment, sports, and more for visitors. As the city gears up to welcome The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, anticipation builds for a culinary extravaganza that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the global gastronomic community.
