Dior had been present in the most beautiful places in the world, and now it was joining the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. The House cherished this legendary place, which was celebrated by an eponymous perfume in the Collection Privée Christian Dior. On April 14th, 2023, a Spa was welcomed, inspired by and overlooking nature and the radiant Côte d’Azur light. The two Houses celebrated their long-standing ties, united by a shared spirit and a shared vision of discreet and authentic luxury.

The Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc overlooked the southern tip of Cap d’Antibes, standing as an absolute legend of the French Riviera. It was situated on a promontory of white rocks, offering an unrestricted view of the Lérins Islands. For over 150 years, its elegant Napoleonic residence, majestic alleys, and iconic swimming pool set into the cliffside had shone brightly. Within its nine-hectare grounds, Aleppo pines, agapanthus, lavender, fragrant roses, and jasmine flourished, making it a vibrant gem of regal nature. This idyllic setting symbolized a unique art de vivre and served as a refuge for stars and notable figures worldwide. From New York glamour couple Sara and Gerald Murphy, who had pioneered summer breaks on the Côte d’Azur with friends Hemingway and Picasso, to Sharon Stone, Robert de Niro, Clint Eastwood, Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Audrey Hepburn, Romy Schneider, and the Kennedy family, all sought solace in its beauty.

This spring, the mythical luxury hotel embraced the inimitable Parisian elegance of Dior, along with its unique philosophy of beauty and well-being. The two Houses embarked on a new chapter in their shared history, one that had been written over time. They shared a love for nature and flowers, particularly roses, which were abundant in this haven. Monsieur Dior himself, whose Château de la Colle Noire was located a few dozen kilometers away, shared this passion. Dior had also chosen this setting for several advertising campaigns, making Eden-Roc a special destination and paying homage to it through an eponymous perfume—an olfactory tribute to this legendary, sun-drenched spot.

In an onyx affusion shower room, House well-being experts provided hydrotherapy treatments using different jets. The Spa space also housed an ice fountain, which stimulated and boosted blood circulation after a session in the sauna or the hammam, positioned to the left and right of the refreshing cascade. Lastly, a dedicated Iyashi Dôme treatment room offered infra-therapy to address detoxing and slimming needs. Inspired by traditional Japanese treatments, the Dôme deeply and naturally rebalanced the body for a return to harmony and overall meaningful living. By diffusing gentle heat through the entire body using far-infrared light waves, it facilitated detoxification, quicker regeneration, and efficient slimming effects.

To ensure everyone could fully enjoy these moments of well-being, Dior had also made these rituals available in the heart of nature. In the grounds, facing the hundred-year-old rose garden dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II, a gazebo had been transformed into a double treatment room, sheltered from the eyes of passers-by. Further on, a historical cabana, redecorated with striped fabric and toile de Jouy in shades of sage green and white, had been converted into a cozy treatment cocoon for one. At the threshold of this exclusive islet protected by the pines, a terrace with rattan furniture instantly encouraged visitors to relax, taking the time to admire the sea view and be lulled by the murmuring waves.

Drawing on its holistic vision of beauty and well-being, Dior designed the Dioriginels Rituals, four new customizable signature treatments for its Spa. Reflecting the essence of the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, these treatments were inspired by the four elements that gave this mythical place its unique character: rocks, sea, garden, and sun. The Escale à Eden-Roc Ritual, a complete “reset” treatment ideal for starting one’s stay, aimed to rebalance and harmonize energy flow through a massage that utilized semi-precious stones. These stones were chosen according to each individual’s needs and used either hot or cold during the 2-hour treatment. The Roc Affusion Ritual reinterpreted the power of water through a 1-hour 30-minute hydrotherapy treatment, utilizing a tailor-made sequence of water jets that were beneficial for the muscles and drainage.

Additionally, for the first time and exclusively for this prestigious address, Dior created six Wellness treatments, promising moments of exceptional happiness and effectiveness. Named Bouquets as a nod to the Dior Gardens, these treatments were customized for each guest down to the finest details, aiming to fulfill essential needs such as relaxation, immunity, detox, and slimming. Comprehensive and precise, the Reverse Aging and Hormonal Balance Bouquets also provided assistance to guests experiencing periods of life change.

Lastly, the sixth Bouquet focused on well-being for men, offering a program centered on muscle strengthening, organism rebalancing, tailored facial treatments, and nutritional advice. Designed over several days, each program combined manual treatments in both the Spa experience space and the treatment rooms, as well as sessions utilizing high-tech machines like the Dior Skin Light LED Mask and the exclusive Dior Micro-Abrasion tool, along with Waves 21 and Endospheres Therapy technologies. With a holistic approach to caring for the body and mind, each Bouquet also included sports sessions and consultations with nutrition and well-being experts. These tailor-made Bouquets, the quintessence of Dior philosophy and excellence, served as true showcases for beauty and complete well-being, aiming to revive energy flow, rebalance the body, and restore harmony. These exceptional moments of self-care had a lasting impact on the body, making guests radiate from within and experience a total rebirth in the unique sunshine of the French Riviera.

In line with the spirit of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the Dioriginels Rituals drew inspiration from the four elements that gave this legendary place its distinctive character: the garden, the sea, the rocks, and the sun. Tailored exclusively for Dior Spa Eden-Roc, these exclusive and customizable treatments showcased the holistic dimension of the Dior Spa philosophy, inviting guests to realign their energy and explore sensory boundaries during an unforgettable experience. Guests could fully benefit from their stay on the French Riviera by discovering a new perspective on wellness and adapting it to their own life philosophy and personal goals.

This spirit extended to the six Dior wellness cures, created exclusively for Dior Spa Eden-Roc. Available as 3, 7, 10, or 14-day courses, these expert Bouquets delivered visible and tangible results, relieving the body of any discomfort and paving the way to happiness.
