Comfort Meets Intention in The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s New Winter Drinks

As winter settles in, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is leaning into comfort with a seasonally minded menu that balances indulgence and intention. Launching January 7 and running through March 17, the winter offerings introduce two distinct drink collections that feel right at home this time of year: Protein Lattes built for a nourishing boost and Mexican Chocolate beverages inspired by deep cocoa and warming spice.

The headline debut is the brand’s first Protein Lattes, which blend classic espresso drinks with a functional twist. Available in Vanilla, Caramel, and Hazelnut, each latte combines rich espresso and steamed milk with at least 20 grams of protein in a regular size. The result is a drink that feels equally suited to early mornings, post workout recovery, or an afternoon reset. Guests can also opt for a lower sugar version that keeps the flavor intact while dialing things back.

Vanilla offers a soft, creamy sweetness. Caramel brings buttery depth that plays well with espresso. Hazelnut delivers a toasted, nutty note that feels especially cozy in colder weather. All are available hot or iced.

For those craving something more nostalgic, the Mexican Chocolate collection invites a slower sip. Drawing on the pairing of dark chocolate and cinnamon, these drinks deliver warmth without being overly sweet. The lineup includes a hot latte layered with espresso and steamed milk, an iced latte that balances bold coffee with spiced chocolate, and a blended version that turns the flavors into a frosty, dessert like treat.

The seasonal menu is complemented by a slate of winter promotions available through the brand’s app, including Wellness Wednesdays in January, a Super Bowl week bundle deal in early February, a Valentine’s Day two drink special, and ongoing loyalty perks with exclusive offers and early access.

Protein Lattes and Mexican Chocolate beverages will be available at participating cafes nationwide from January 7 through March 17, 2026, while supplies last. Guests can order in store or through The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf mobile app for easy pickup and rewards.
