As autumn graces Suzhou, the Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou invites food enthusiasts to experience the ultimate seasonal indulgence—a sumptuous hairy crab feast. The Jin Jing Ge Chinese Restaurant presents a special crab season menu and the exclusive Autumn Crab Rhyme afternoon tea, featuring the renowned Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, celebrated for their freshness and exquisite flavor.

Under the expert craftsmanship of Executive Chinese Chef Charles Zhang, the Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs are elevated to culinary perfection through diverse preparation methods. Steamed crabs highlight their natural sweetness and delicate texture, while drunken crabs marinated in Fuzhen yellow rice wine from Shaoxing, Zhejiang, embody the traditional Jiangnan cuisine experience with their aromatic and mellow flavors.

The menu showcases signature dishes such as Tuhuangyou (crab roe and crab cream) served over rice, a luxurious and traditional Jiangnan delicacy. Complemented by light and flavorful chicken soup, it achieves a perfect harmony of creamy and fresh tastes, reflecting Chef Zhang’s mastery of balance in fine dining.

Adding a modern twist to tradition, the Autumn Crab Rhyme afternoon tea combines innovative pastry artistry with classic ingredients. Highlights include vividly shaped crab roe pastries with a crispy crust and velvety filling, as well as salted lemon and osmanthus-flavored rice cakes, offering a delightful blend of sweet and savory notes. Accompanied by premium teas, coffees, and yellow rice wine, the experience immerses guests in the joy of “enjoying crabs with wine,” an ancient poetic tradition.

Embark on an unforgettable autumn crab dining journey at Jin Jing Ge, where seasonal specialties and refined flavors promise a truly extraordinary culinary experience.
