Yoshino Technology Takes Portable Power to the Next Level with SST Battery Stations

follow us on Google News

Yoshino Technology made an announcement today about the availability of the world’s first solid-state lithium-ion portable power stations in the United States. These power stations offer higher power outputs, ranging from 330W, 660W, 2000W, to 4000W, catering to various needs such as outdoor recreation, adventure, home backup, and industrial settings.

The solid-state (SST) battery cells used in these power stations have a solid electrolyte instead of the flammable liquid electrolyte found in traditional lithium-ion batteries. This innovation not only makes them safer but also increases their energy density, providing more power in a smaller and lighter package.

According to Vince Caito, the Vice President of Marketing & Product Development at Yoshino Technology, the response to their solid-state lithium-ion battery technology for portable power stations has been exceptional. Starting today, customers can purchase the B330 SST and B660 SST models, with the B2000 SST and B4000 SST models becoming available soon. Additionally, they are offering solar generator kits featuring portable solar panels for these two models.

Yoshino’s portable power stations cater to various lifestyles, from outdoor enthusiasts and van lifers to businesses in need of reliable outdoor power and homeowners seeking backup power during outages. Their solid-state technology brings a safer, more efficient option for power needs in different settings.

When it comes to safety, Yoshino’s SST batteries outperform traditional lithium batteries due to their use of a state-of-the-art solid electrolyte instead of a flammable liquid one. This significantly reduces the risk of fire and makes them a safer choice.

Apart from safety, there are several other benefits to using SST batteries:

– They have a higher energy density, enabling more power to fit into a smaller and lighter package compared to traditional lithium batteries.

– SST batteries allow for faster charging, reaching up to 80% capacity in under an hour, providing users with quick and reliable portable power.

– These batteries deliver up to twice the power per pound of traditional lithium batteries, making them ideal for handling more significant tasks.

Yoshino portable power stations can be conveniently recharged using AC and DC inputs, portable solar panels, and even USB-C on supported models. Thanks to their nearly silent operation and lack of exhaust fumes, they are safe for indoor and outdoor use, unlike noisy gasoline-powered generators.
