Getting Around
The Las Vegas Monorail will be open round-the-clock for New Year’s Eve, offering locals and visitors the only motorized method of transportation along the Las Vegas Strip, which will be closed to all traffic in the hours leading up to 2023.
The Monorail will operate continuously from 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 until 3 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, for a total of 44 straight hours.
Locals can purchase $1 single-ride tickets at customer service booths located at every station (except the Las Vegas Convention Center) from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 with proof of Nevada I.D. For out-of-town guests, one-ride tickets are $5.
The Monorail now also offers an eTicket discount on unlimited-ride passes starting at $13.45 for a 24-hour pass, which can be purchased online.

- The clock is moving forward, but Fremont Street Experience is taking it back with the NYE Time of Your Life Festival. - Legacy Club at Circa Resort & Casino will ring in 2023 with its “Light Up the Night” celebration. Situated 60 floors above downtown Las Vegas, the event is complete with panoramic views, cocktails, live music, and comfortable fire-pit seating on its expansive outdoor terrace.
- The Ice Rink’s Fireworks Viewing Party at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is complete with breathtaking views of the Strip (and the midnight fireworks show). Visitors can toast to 2023 with a three-hour open bar and a champagne toast at midnight. Complimentary ice skate rental completes the experience.

- Visitors can ring in 2023 long before the rest of the United States at the annual “Midnight in Munich” celebration at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas. The authentic Bavarian beer hall and garden will host an afternoon party to usher in the New Year beginning at 3 p.m. PT (or 12 a.m. Munich time), right alongside revelers at the original Hofbräuhaus location in Germany.
