Backstreet Boys have added three more dates to their blockbuster “Into the Millennium” residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, responding to continued demand from fans. Produced by Live Nation, the new shows are scheduled for December 31, 2026, and January 1 and 2, 2027, giving fans the chance to ring in the New Year with the group.
The residency launched in July 2025, making Backstreet Boys the first pop act to headline Sphere. Since then, the group has played 47 sold out shows for more than 750,000 fans. Night after night, audiences have shown up dressed in all white, a tribute to the cover of the band’s 1999 blockbuster album, Millennium.
The show has drawn strong praise for its high energy performances, cutting edge visuals, and ambitious production, all built around Sphere’s immersive technology. One of the standout moments finds the group’s signature choreography paired with striking visuals, including a segment in which the band became the first artists to physically fly through space inside the venue, a moment that has helped cement the residency as a must-see live event.
Critics have taken notice. Billboard wrote that the group put on possibly their best performance yet at Sphere, noting the band’s vocals shined and that they didn’t miss a note or a beat. USA Today called the show more than a mere concert, describing it as a thrill ride and a run through beautifully sung ballads full of yearning alongside polished, gleaming pop anthems. The Hollywood Reporter said “Into the Millennium” is a game changer for Sphere, adding that Backstreet Boys pushed the limits of what the venue could do with their residency launch.
