Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai has announced that Katy Perry, the GRAMMY® nominated pop star, will headline its New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, giving guests a live countdown to 2027 at one of the region’s best known resorts.
Perry will perform on a custom built open air deck on New Year’s Eve, with a setlist expected to feature Firework, Roar, Last Friday Night and Dark Horse. At midnight, a fireworks display will stretch across the Dubai skyline from Atlantis, The Palm to Atlantis The Royal.
Perry arrives with an extensive commercial record. Since her Capitol Records debut in 2008 with One of the Boys, she has accumulated 115 billion streams and sold more than 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks worldwide. She is the biggest selling female artist in Capitol history and one of only twelve artists to pass 100 million certified units with solo single releases. In 2015, she became the first Capitol Records artist to reach 10 million RIAA certified units for a single, and she was the first artist in RIAA history to earn three Diamond singles, for Firework, Dark Horse and Roar.
Billed as Dubai’s most glamorous celebration and its ultimate black tie affair, the gala begins at 6:00pm with canapés, welcome drinks and roaming entertainment. Guests then move to the outdoor setting, which offers panoramic views of Palm Island and the Dubai skyline. A 30 piece live band, free flowing Champagne and unlimited premium alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will accompany the evening. The buffet will include lobster, caviar and sushi, along with live cooking stations, handcrafted desserts and petit fours.
Following sell out success in previous years, the resort is bringing back its Sky Suites. Set in an elevated section of the venue, the suites offer a prime vantage point, dedicated butler service and signature dishes from some of the resort’s most celebrated restaurants. Guests also receive full access to the gala buffet and an exclusive selection of ultra premium beverages.
Families are also catered for. The Asateer Tent will become a kids’ party zone with a giant slide, bouncy castle, outdoor cinema, game stalls, and arts and crafts.
Premium Seating includes a champagne and canapé welcome and full buffet access. Prices start from AED 8,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 6,500 for children aged 4 to 13. Children under 3 attend free.
Rouge Circle offers prime views just steps from the stage, with prices starting from AED 10,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 7,500 for children aged 4 to 13. Children under 3 attend free.
Golden Circle offers private prime seating in front of the stage, unlimited premium champagne, a caviar box with personalised truffle service, and upgraded premium wines and spirits. Prices start from AED 14,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 8,500 for children aged 0 to 13.
