Lever Couture Spring/Summer 2023 Collection 

Lever Couture ‘s Spring/Summer 2023 collection was unveiled at the Tokyo National Museum Hyokeikan on August 31, 2022.

Lever Couture is a brand designed by Lesja Verlingieri from Ukraine. She was discovered by Lady Gaga’s fashion director, Nicola Formichetti, and has worked on costumes for celebrity music videos, stages, and red carpets. This season’s collection, presented at Hyokeikan, the Tokyo National Museum, seems to capture the shapes that are woven in an instant, so to speak, as the materials gently gather together, covering the body and then leaving, in a dress. 

Transforming the flat surface of woven fabric into a three-dimensional form—a thin and soft material can also gain a certain volume by applying intricate pleats. The gorgeously lustrous pleated material runs vertically and horizontally over the body while being folded, or spreads gracefully like a fan.
