Isabel Marant unveiled her Spring/Summer 2027 women’s collection in Paris on Thursday, October 1, 2026, transforming Place Colette into a sandy landscape reminiscent of a summer beach. Bathed in an orange light that echoed the glow of dusk, the setting conjured sun drenched scenery and brought an effortless seaside mood to the heart of the city.

At the center of the collection were the craft inspired elements long synonymous with the house: antique textured linen, crochet, lace, embroidery, beads, rhinestones and sequins. This season, Marant translated these signatures into an open, easygoing wardrobe shaped by the freedom of a sun soaked shore. A halter neck bodysuit, reminiscent of swimwear, was paired with a fringed skirt that swayed with every step, then layered beneath a shawl collar jacket. The result was a relaxed look poised to move seamlessly from shoreline to city. Elsewhere, airy shirt rompers, crochet shorts and tank tops adorned with cutwork embroidery lent the collection a lighthearted, summery ease.

The choice of materials underscored this breezy sensibility. Sheer tops covered in delicate, feminine embroidery, loosely knitted skirts and chiffon dresses layered with petal like appliqués offered glimpses of skin throughout. At intervals, stronger pieces, including leather jackets with masculine shoulders and military inspired jumpsuits, introduced a note of strength, creating a striking counterpoint to the softer elements.

The palette centered on white and black, accented with faded shades of green, yellow and coral pink that appeared bleached by the summer sun. A pale purple paisley print, evocative of vintage fabrics, added an understated ethnic nuance.

As the show moved toward its finale, the mood shifted from the openness of daytime dressing to the allure of the evening, punctuated by sequins and black. One look paired a shimmering sequin dress, sparkling like a disco ball, with a rounded shawl collar jacket, while another featured a crochet dress lit with a celestial, starry night effect. Sensual black looks brought the show to a glamorous close, capturing Marant’s signature balance of carefree femininity, artisanal detail and effortless allure.
