The production model, to be manufactured at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, will launch in North America in early 2026, followed by introductions in global markets.

Honda 0 Saloon Prototype

As the flagship of the Honda 0 Series, the Honda 0 Saloon offers a sleek, wedge-shaped design paired with a low-slung, spacious cabin. This model highlights cutting-edge technologies, including Level 3 automated driving features powered by Honda SENSING Elite and personalized digital experiences enabled by ASIMO OS.

The production version of the Saloon will debut in North America by late 2026, with subsequent launches in Japan and Europe.

ASIMO Operating System (OS)

Honda’s ASIMO OS is an in-house developed platform designed to unify vehicle systems, such as advanced driver assistance (AD/ADAS) and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), under a single framework. Inspired by Honda’s iconic humanoid robot ASIMO, the OS aims to deliver seamless software updates and individualized functionality through over-the-air (OTA) technology.

This new operating system will be a cornerstone of all Honda 0 Series models, evolving alongside user preferences to provide a continually improving ownership experience.

Advanced Automated Driving Technologies

Honda continues to lead in automated driving technology, building on its success as the first automaker to launch Level 3 (eyes-off) automated driving in 2021. The 0 Series models will expand these capabilities, offering advanced AI that can navigate complex driving scenarios and ensure safe, reliable travel.

High-Performance System-on-Chip Development

Honda has partnered with Renesas Electronics Corporation to develop a custom SoC for future Honda 0 Series vehicles. Utilizing cutting-edge multi-die chiplet technology, this SoC will integrate advanced AI processing to enable seamless operation of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) with unparalleled efficiency.

Energy Services for Enhanced EV Ownership

Honda’s Home Energy Management System will simplify EV charging while promoting renewable energy usage. In collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Honda plans to offer tailored charging solutions, including cost-effective schedules and virtual power plant (VPP) integration.
