Disney has announced exciting new details for the return of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa, set to take place August 14, 15, and 16, 2026, in Anaheim, California. The highly anticipated celebration will once again transform Anaheim into the beating heart of Disney fandom, giving fans exclusive first access to the latest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation. Across three packed days, stars and storytellers will come together for unforgettable moments filled with sneak peeks, behind the scenes access, thrilling performances, immersive experiences, expanded shopping, and the kind of surprises only Disney can deliver.

How to Get Tickets
All D23 Gold Members, including those enrolled in a complimentary Gold Member plan via Disney+ Perks or on Gold Essential, Choice, and Complete plans, may purchase event tickets subject to availability. For a limited time, Disney+ subscribers on the D23 Gold Monthly plan can also take advantage of a new Disney+ Perk, upgrading to a paid Gold Essential, Choice, or Complete plan for 20% off. Ticket access will roll out in tiers to prioritize the most dedicated members of the D23 community. Current D23 Gold Charter Members will have an exclusive 24-hour window beginning Tuesday, March 31, at 10 a.m. PT. A priority purchase window for D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans opens Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m. PT, with all other D23 Gold Members able to join the queue at 12 p.m. PT that same day. Each Gold Member may purchase tickets for themselves and up to five guests, for six tickets total. Guests do not need to be D23 Gold Members to attend.
Ticket Options
This year’s event is more accessible than ever before, with expanded show floor hours across all three days and a brand new D23 Fan Pass Afternoon Only ticket offering later day entry to the Anaheim Convention Center. Ticket options include the D23 Fan Pass (Anaheim Convention Center only), available for $49 for the Afternoon Only option, $99 for a one day pass, or $297 for a three day pass. The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass, which includes access to both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center showcases, starts at $99 for one day and $297 for three days. For the most devoted fans, the D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass delivers three days of floor seating at the Honda Center, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and exclusive Random Selection Process opportunities for select limited edition pins, with pricing ranging from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on location. Each ticket carries an $11.25 service fee, and each transaction includes a $16 delivery fee. D23 Gold Members who are unable to purchase tickets may join a limited time waitlist after ticket sales close, though availability is not guaranteed.
What to Expect Over the Weekend
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will showcase the full strength of Disney’s storytelling engine, bringing together beloved franchises, bold new visions, and the creative leaders shaping what comes next. Each day will feature a marquee presentation at the Honda Center: the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday, the Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday, and the Disney Legends Award Ceremony on Sunday.
The festivities actually begin a day early, on Thursday, August 13, with D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. That special kickoff includes a Disney Legends Cavalcade, a complimentary giveaway of Mickey Mouse ear hats while supplies last, magical surprises, and more. Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party also returns for a one day special event at Disney California Adventure Park, tailored for families with young children and featuring live entertainment, Disney Jr. characters and activities, and fun photo opportunities.
Throughout the weekend, the Anaheim Convention Center will host more than 50 panels and presentations created exclusively for fans, offering behind the scenes insights, first looks, and conversations with the storytellers behind some of Disney’s most iconic worlds. Fan favorite programming returns, including D23 Mousequerade: The Ultimate Disney Costume Contest presented by AT&T, a beloved celebration of Disney fandom spotlighting fan creativity, craftsmanship, and community. Fans will also get an exclusive first look at a new feature length documentary from acclaimed filmmaker Leslie Iwerks.
The Biggest Show Floor Yet
D23’s largest and most innovative show floor ever will immerse fans in interactive environments that bring Disney storytelling to life. Returning favorites include opportunities to get up close with the latest from Disney Experiences and Walt Disney Imagineering, dive into the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, experience favorite movies and series through Disney+ and Hulu, and explore the very best of Disney shopping and products.
Brand new experiences include Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience presented by Disney Rewards Visa Cards from Chase, giving fans a special D23 preview of the immersive walk through experience currently touring worldwide, complete with life size sets from beloved Pixar films. ESPN and the Road to the Super Bowl will highlight the thrilling intersection of sports and entertainment, while additional activations will be inspired by Bluey, Camp Rock 3, and The Simpsons. A standout display featuring Mickey F1 and a Formula 1 car is also on the way.
Fans who love a little friendly competition can take part in a first of its kind event experience as Ravensburger hosts the Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifier, where the winner earns a guaranteed seat at the 2027 Disney Lorcana North American Championship.
One of the most exciting additions to the show floor is Walt Disney Archives: Uncrated, an all new exhibition inviting fans to explore the vast and hidden warehouses of the Walt Disney Archives, spaces previously accessible only to Disney archivists. Guests will discover themed displays featuring iconic props, costumes, and puppets from beloved films, television series, and theme parks spanning generations of Disney history.
The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes: Fantastic Prizes returns with extraordinary rewards and once in a lifetime opportunities. Prizes include a sailing during the inaugural season of the newly announced Disney Cruise Line ship Disney Believe, a National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures trip to Kenya including a safari experience celebrating the upcoming Disney+ and Hulu series Lion from Jon Favreau, and a three day, two night trip to Los Angeles to attend the red carpet world premiere of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. A City Wide Celebration
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event extends far beyond the convention center walls. The festivities begin Saturday, August 8, with the opening of a brand new Walt Disney Archives exhibition at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center. Titled Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live Action, the exhibition features rare photography, costume pieces, artwork, and interactive elements exploring the connection between live action performance and animation. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. PT on D23.com.
The celebration continues Tuesday, August 11, with D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District, featuring music, trivia, fan activities, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District. On Wednesday, August 12, fans can attend D23 Night at Angel Stadium as the Angels take on the Texas Rangers. The first 23,000 fans through the gates will receive a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 of those being an exclusive gold variant. D23 Members will also enjoy a discount on tickets, access to special D23 event spaces on gameday, and a commemorative event gift. Throughout the week, Downtown Disney will feature special offers, discounts, and themed fun for fans making the most of their time in Anaheim.
