Chiuri focused on embroidery as a conversation point between France and India. The Chanakya ateliers’ embroidery program, which involves over 700 women, was used to reinterpret the various landscapes of India.

The program’s expertise was applied in a diverse wardrobe inspired by different cultures and heritages. It included sophisticated evening coats, sari-inspired straight skirts, traditional Indian cuts, pants, boleros, jackets, and tops. The color palette also celebrated shared influences, with a color block sequence featuring shades of green, yellow, pink, and purple as an homage to Marc Bohan.

It was an expression of the emotions and feelings that connect people with a country and its culture. Chiuri’s creations celebrated the craftsmanship and emancipation of women, a theme that was at the heart of the collaboration with the Chanakya School of Craft.
