Burberry Spring/Summer 2023 Collection – A new interpretation of British beaches where contradictions and emotions are born.
For this season’s creation, Chief Creative Officer Ricardo Tisci focused on British beaches where many people and diversity meet and mix. In the heart of Burberry and in his hometown of London, he reinterprets Britain, reflecting the idealism and realism inherent in its essence.
Pieces that reinterpreted swimwear were seen here. Unique designs that fused with full-length dresses and looks that layered swimwear over bodysuits were repeatedly proposed.
Menswear, where sports and tailoring coexist, is also impressive. A good example of this is the combination of a casual T-shirt with wide trousers and a shirt with a horse logo collar. Another feature of this season is the active use of feminine materials such as lace and tulle in menswear.
The gabardine used in Burberry’s iconic trench coat is used in long skirts and jackets. Also, this season, a uniquely designed trench coat with four sleeves was unveiled.
