Hyundai Motor Group Joins Forces with NVIDIA to Shape the Future of Mobility

In a bold move to redefine the mobility landscape, Hyundai Motor Group has partnered with NVIDIA to supercharge its efforts in artificial intelligence (AI). This collaboration marks a significant step toward integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into Hyundai’s vehicles, robotics, and manufacturing systems, setting the stage for a smarter, more efficient future.

“AI is revolutionizing the way we think about mobility,” said Heung-Soo Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Strategy Office at Hyundai Motor Group. “By teaming up with NVIDIA, we’re accelerating our vision for the future—where robotics, autonomous driving, and even factories operate smarter and more efficiently.”

Powering Intelligence Across the Board
The partnership brings NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI Enterprise software into Hyundai’s ecosystem. This powerful combination will manage the massive data loads required to train AI models, enhancing safety and reliability across various applications.

In manufacturing, Hyundai plans to use NVIDIA Omniverse to develop digital twins—virtual replicas of its factories. These simulations will help optimize processes, improve product quality, and cut costs. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA Isaac platform will support Hyundai in creating advanced AI-driven robots for deployment in a variety of environments.

Rethinking Mobility from the Ground Up
A key focus of the collaboration is creating virtual simulation environments for autonomous driving and robotics. These tools will allow Hyundai to test and refine its systems in a controlled, virtual space, ensuring that when the technology hits the road (or factory floor), it’s safe, reliable, and efficient.

“With AI and simulation technologies, we’re unlocking new possibilities in mobility,” said Rishi Dhall, Vice President of Automotive at NVIDIA. “This partnership is a leap forward in creating smarter vehicles, more efficient factories, and advanced robotics to transform the digital workplace.”

While the initial scope of the partnership is ambitious, Hyundai and NVIDIA hint that this is just the beginning. With more projects in the pipeline, the two companies are poised to unveil additional breakthroughs in the near future.
