According to Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development and Portfolio Management at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Taipei has long been a target destination for the luxury hospitality brand as it seeks to expand its presence in the most important cities in Asia. The partnership with Yuan Lih Construction Co., Ltd. marks Four Seasons’ excitement in announcing its upcoming hotel in Taipei, which promises to be a destination of choice for both locals and travelers.

The hotel, named Four Seasons Hotel Taipei, will offer events, wellness, and leisure amenities throughout the 31-story building, providing breathtaking cityscape and mountain views. The tower’s design will create spacious environments with soaring ceilings and expansive windows to maximize natural light. Construction of the new hotel has already begun and is expected to be completed in a few years. With its thoughtful design, world-class restaurants and bars, and personalized service by Four Seasons people, the hotel aims to provide a luxurious experience to its guests.

The Four Seasons Hotel Taipei is set to offer approximately 260 light-filled rooms with stunning city and mountain views. The hotel’s dining options will include a high-end Chinese restaurant, a specialty restaurant, an all-day restaurant, a destination bar, a pool bar, and a lobby lounge. The highest floors of the 31-story tower will have wraparound views of Taipei city and the horizon’s mountain ranges, surrounded by expansive glass paneling on both sides of the building. The tower’s floor-to-ceiling design will allow guests to take in the incredible presence of Taipei 101 while enjoying the cityscape.

Renowned international architecture firm, RSHP, has been chosen to design the hotel, which will feature an efficient structure and use local vegetation species to support biodiversity. RSHP has a vast portfolio of projects ranging from office space, residential, transport, culture, and leisure, and is known for its sustainable, innovative designs. The building design of Four Seasons Hotel Taipei aims to achieve Taiwan Green Building Rating Gold and a minimum LEED silver, ensuring an exceptional environment for guests to enjoy.

The Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will have a height of 180 meters (591 feet) and feature an executive club lounge, a fitness center with an outdoor pool, and a spa. The hotel will also have extensive meeting and event spaces, including a grand ballroom and a junior ballroom, which will offer the same high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass panels as the rest of the building. Additionally, lush garden space on the ground level will be available for meetings and events.

Located in the Xinyi District, directly opposite the Taipei 101 skyscraper, Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will be a preferred destination for both international and local guests. The hotel will be about a one-hour drive from Taoyuan International Airport or a 20-minute drive from Songshan Airport, which serves numerous domestic travelers and selected international routes.
