Sensorium Corporation today announced the closed beta launch of Sensorium Galaxy. The Galaxy is being built in partnership with world-known artists, producers, and entertainment companies. Among them are Yann Pissenem, the creator of the world-leading nightlife hubs Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza, and music and entertainment streaming service TIDAL owned by globally-acclaimed artists such as JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Daft Punk and others.
The Sensorium Galaxy App will serve as a bridge between the real world and the metaverse. Through the app, users will be able to generate and customize multiple avatars, purchase tickets, livestream SG events and chat with other users as well as AI-powered NPCs. The platform will be compatible with the most popular VR headset brands, as well as accessible on PC, Android, and iOS devices.
While this beta does not include final content, users are free to explore the two first AAA virtual worlds of Sensorium Galaxy: PRISM and MOTION. PRISM world is a content hub for music performances by chart-topping artists and virtual AI-driven DJs created in collaboration with Mubert. For mobile devices, the MVP of the Sensorium Galaxy App has been developed, and its beta launch is expected within the next month.
Starting next week, applications will be open for new beta-testers from around the globe. To apply, users will simply need to fill a form on the Sensorium Corporation website. The Sensorium Galaxy team will review each application and contact all successful candidates via email.
Grammy award-winning superstar DJ & Producer David Guetta is the first DJ to officially join the Sensorium Galaxy. Aside from being recognized as one of the leading names in dance music, Guetta is also known for leveraging the latest technologies to deliver memorable experiences for his fans. Earlier this year, the DJ hosted two live streams in Miami and NYC that collectively attracted over 50 million viewers across the globe and raised well over $1.5 million for charities aiding Covid-19 relief.
The Sensorium Galaxy team will be working alongside Guetta to create an accurate virtual representation of him to be used in multiple performances prepared exclusively for Sensorium users. All performances by David Guetta will be hosted at PRISM world.

Armin van Buuren
Chart-topping artist, music tastemaker and the only DJ in history to top the World’s Best DJs ranking on 5 occasions, Armin van Buuren will share his music in PRISM. Global dance music icon Armin van Buuren is a true legend of the electronic music industry. He is a regular headliner at world-famous music events such as EDC Vegas, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, alongside his own internationally-renowned residency at Hï Ibiza, the trance figurehead is also well known for his entrepreneurial flair. Sensorium will create a photorealistic avatar of Armin van Buuren using state-of-the-art motion capture technology, which will then be used to front the Dutchman’s performances once the platform launches early next year.

DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are among the most famous names in electronic music. Known for their epic stage performances, the Belgian brothers electrifying live combination of DJ sets and crowd-busting MC’ing has seen them perform around the world at leading clubs and festivals including Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa Ibiza and EDC Las Vegas. In preparation for their performances on PRISM, the duo will be digitized using avant-garde motion capture technology to create photorealistic avatars. These avatars will be used for all of their performances inside Sensorium Galaxy, which is scheduled to launch in early 2021.

Black Coffee
Ahead of his performances at PRISM, the Sensorium team will produce a photorealistic avatar of Black Coffee using state-of-the-art motion capture technology. This avatar will later be used for pre-recorded and live shows at Sensorium Galaxy virtual stages.
Since getting his first break at 2003’s Red Bull Music Academy, South African artist Black Coffee has conquered the hearts and minds of the global music industry. The DJ-producer has gone on to release five critically acclaimed artist albums (his sixth album “Subconsciously” is due to be released in February 2021), land residencies and headline performances at many of the biggest clubs & festivals around the globe and become the first African DJ to deliver BBC Radio 1’s acclaimed Essential Mix.
