The third-largest and fastest-growing cruise line in the world, MSC Cruises, arrived in New York City this morning as MSC Meraviglia docked at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The modern and glamorous megaship will set sail from the Big Apple to The Bahamas and Florida, Canada and New England, and Bermuda, with itineraries available year-round. This will have a significant and ongoing economic impact on the region, confirming MSC Cruises’ commitment to the New York cruise market.

Itineraries on MSC Meraviglia from New York will include tropical 7- to 11-night sailings to destinations such as Miami and Port Canaveral in Florida, Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, and Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico. Starting in August, guests can enjoy 5- and 6-night sailings to Kings Wharf in Bermuda, with several days in port to explore the beauty of the island. Just in time for fall, MSC Meraviglia will offer 10- and 11-night itineraries calling at Newport, Boston, and Portland in the U.S, as well as Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown, and Sydney in Canada.

The ship has indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, together with one of the most intricate water parks at sea. The water park features three twisting slides and an intricate ropes course—the Himalayan Bridge. There are seven different shows in the 985-seat Broadway Theatre and the famous Carousel Lounge.
