Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ Lights Up ‘Wilderness’ Opener

In the opening titles of the UK Original thriller series “Wilderness,” Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” takes center stage. This re-recorded hit from the Reputation album made its global debut in today’s teaser for the series. “Wilderness” is set to premiere on Prime Video worldwide on September 15th.

The song, “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version),” serves as a reflection of Liv’s (portrayed by Jenna Coleman) transformation. Liv’s life takes a dark turn when she discovers her husband Will (played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is having an affair, shattering her “happily-ever-after” illusion. Liv soon becomes the leading character in Will’s nightmares, and her heartbreak quickly transforms into fury.

As the couple embarks on an American road trip that Liv had always dreamt of, from the Grand Canyon through Yosemite, and ultimately ending with a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas, their motivations differ greatly. Will sees it as an opportunity to make amends, while for Liv, it’s a chance to enter a world where accidents can easily occur—a perfect setting for seeking revenge. The lyrics of the song perfectly encapsulate the transformation she undergoes.

Taylor Swift’s track, “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version),” adds to the intensity of this psychological thriller, which is brought to life by a talented female team.
