Maison Albar – Le Victoria: A New Standard of Quiet Luxury in Nice

Maison Albar Hotels has a new place opening in September 2024: Le Victoria in Nice, France. It’s a 5-star hotel between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, designed for those who like fine things without fuss. The hotel has 132 rooms and suites, each one looking out at either the sea or the countryside. The rooms are simple and elegant, with shades of white and soft colors that feel calm and cool. The materials are fine—polished stone, good woodwork, clean lines. There’s no excess, only what matters.

For those looking to rest, there’s the ORIA Spa, a 650-square-meter space with private rooms, hot tubs, and a marble pool that catches the light. It’s quiet here, with touches of marine blues and crystal light. Above it all is TAULISSA, the rooftop restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Glenn Viel. From here, you see all of Nice and beyond, a full view of the sea and hills. The menu is about good food, made simply, with local ingredients. Viel and his team work with nearby farmers and fishermen to keep the flavors true. There’s a DJ who plays low and keeps the atmosphere easy.

For business or private gatherings, Le Victoria has four event rooms with natural light and up-to-date technology. Downstairs, the hotel offers Europe’s largest luxury shopping gallery, with a dozen high-end boutiques over 5,500 square meters. Maison Albar – Le Victoria is about quiet luxury and ease. It’s for those who want something well-made and honest, with nothing extra.
