Apple today unveiled its latest addition to the laptop lineup: the 15-inch MacBook Air. Enhanced with a cutting-edge six-speaker sound system, the 15-inch MacBook Air provides an immersive audio experience with Spatial Audio technology. Despite its slim design, the MacBook Air is built to be robust and durable, and it is nearly 40 percent thinner and half a pound lighter than its PC counterparts.

The M2 chip features an 8-core CPU with high-performance and energy-efficient cores, a 10-core GPU for impressive graphics, and a 16-core Neural Engine. With a memory bandwidth of 100GB/s and support for up to 24GB of unified memory, multitasking and handling complex workloads become seamless.

The 15-inch MacBook Air features an upgraded 1080p FaceTime HD camera, ensuring clear and crisp video calls. Its three-microphone array with advanced beamforming algorithms captures high-quality audio for enhanced communication during video calls. The design also includes a remarkable six-speaker sound system with two tweeters and two sets of force-cancelling woofers. The new MacBook Air incorporates 100 percent recycled gold plating and tin soldering in multiple printed circuit boards, as well as 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets. Additionally, the MagSafe connector includes 100 percent recycled cobalt, and the battery tray is made from 90 percent recycled steel.
