The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch is an annual spring attraction that features nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus in bloom. The colorful flowers fill the coastal hillside with their tall-petaled stems for 6-8 weeks. The theme for the 2023 season is “Live Colorfully,” and the attraction offers various events and activities throughout April for families, friends, and couples to enjoy.

One of the April events is the Picnic & Flowers experience, which is available on select dates. Another event is the Meditation and Sound Healing Workshop, which provides participants with relaxation and grounding techniques while overlooking the flowers and the ocean. For those who prefer wine tasting, there is the Sunset Wine Tasting event featuring premium wines and food bites, accompanied by live music.

The Flower Fields also offer various food options, including local favorites like Pizza Trolley, Strawberry Shack, Sweet Swirls, The Lemonade Stand, and Kettle Kernels. Visitors can purchase a bundle of Tecolote® ranunculus directly from the fields and have them shipped to their door.
