London will be the epicenter of the Platinum Jubilee festivities this June, as befits the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years of service.  The Savoy is Britain’s first luxury hotel and has welcomed Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on numerous occasions during her life; from dancing as a young princess with her sister, Margaret, to the first public photograph of her with HRH Prince Philip before the couple officially announced their engagement, as well as being host to wedding anniversaries throughout their long marriage.

To celebrate this special occasion, The Savoy will offer The Grandest of Stays package as well as the Grandest of Afternoon Teas, which will be served in an elegantly decorated setting.

Both Savoy signs and the public areas will be dressed in gold, green, and the Royal Jubilee purple.  Vine leaves will intertwine with crown motifs.

For the Grandest of Stays package, guests will receive a commemorative Limited Edition bottle of Nyetimber, treats in the room, a Great British breakfast and valet parking.

The Savoy’s Grandest of Afternoon Teas will feature British produce and dishes that connect with HRH Queen Elizabeth II in different ways from savories to patisserie.  Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine will be available to enjoy with the tea.  There will also be musical entertainment over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend during the afternoon tea service.
