DJI and SkyPixel Open the 2021 SkyPixel Creative Video Contest

DJI and SkyPixel have announced the 2021 SkyPixel Creative Video Contest.  Contest prizes will be provided by FAW-Volkswagen Audi, Canon, and DJI.

Running from Oct. 27 to Dec. 6, 2021, the contest welcomes videos shot on handheld devices in seven categories: Sports, Travel, Party, Pets and Kids, Creative, Foods, and 15s Video. There is no age limit, and participants are welcome to submit as many pieces of work as they wish.

The 2021 judging committee is composed of professional film producers, directors, and well-known influencers, including Sam Kolder, Aaron Liu, Devin Graham, and Mike Bishop.

SkyPixel and DJI will give away 60 awards with prizes valued at more than $46,000. The winner of the Grand Prize will earn a DJI coupon of $7,500 to purchase any DJI product, a Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera with an RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens Kit, an Audi e-tron 1:18 model car, and other exciting prizes. Winners in all categories will receive various prizes, including but not limited to a DJI Action 2 Dual-Screen Combo, DJI RS 2 Pro Combo, Canon EOS R5, and Audi Sport Watch. In addition, submissions selected by editors and shot with a previous-generation DJI Osmo or Ronin product will earn a 5% coupon to purchase a new DJI handheld product.

Submission Start Date: 9 am EST Oct. 27 2021

Submission End Date: 1 am EST Dec. 6, 2021

Award Announcement: Dec. 28, 2021

Rules

  • The competition is only open for videos shot with DJI Osmo or Ronin Series products(DJI Action 2、OM 5、Pocket 2、OM 4、Osmo Mobile 3、Osmo Action、Osmo Pocket、Ronin S、Ronin SC、RS 2、RSC 2、Ronin 2), and the footage taken using this equipment must account for at least 50% of the total duration of the work. The Pro Video Prize will be selected from the entries using cameras with a gimbal (such as DJI RS 2 or RSC 2). Aerial footage is allowed in moderation but must not make up the majority of the submission.
  • Participants can submit entries through SkyPixel; each entry may only be submitted in one category. The same entry is not permitted for submission in multiple categories.
  • Videos must not exceed five minutes in length. Entries in the 15s Videos category shall not exceed 15 seconds.
  • Use of content that has been previously awarded a prize in any other SkyPixel contest is not permitted in this contest.
  • Participants must guarantee that all information provided is accurate, all submitted content belongs to them, and no laws have been infringed upon. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification.
  • The results will be announced onDecember 28, 2021 (CST). If any winning entries are found to be plagiarized or infringe upon any law, please contact the SkyPixel committee within seven days after winners are announced at [email protected].
