Two Comedy Icons Walk Into Vegas…
This past weekend, the bright lights of Las Vegas burned a little hotter as comedy heavyweights Nikki Glaser and David Spade reunited to launch their latest residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. No strangers to the Strip, the duo is back by popular demand after a successful 18-show run over two years that left audiences doubled over and casinos cashing in on the after-show high.
The new engagement promises a fresh round of unfiltered jokes, brutal honesty, and razor-sharp timing. Two masters of the mic riffing in real time. Think old-school Vegas with a podcast twist. The next wave of shows lights up the desert on:
Memorial Day Weekend
May 22 and 23, 2026
Labor Day Weekend
September 4 and 5, 2026
(All shows begin at 8 p.m.; tickets available now at Ticketmaster)
The Nikki Glaser Renaissance
Nikki Glaser isn’t just having a moment. She’s rewriting the rules of comedy stardom. With two decades of sold-out tours, three smash-hit podcasts, and enough award nominations to require their own shelf, Glaser has carved out a style that’s brutally honest, refreshingly self-aware, and impossible to ignore.
On January 5, 2025, she became the first woman to ever solo-host the Golden Globe Awards, a cultural mic drop that earned her rave reviews and standing ovations from both critics and audiences. She returned for an encore performance at the 83rd Golden Globes in January 2026.
In October, Glaser filmed her newest hour-long special for Hulu in front of a sold-out crowd at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in her hometown of St. Louis. The special is set to premiere in 2026. A few weeks later, on November 8, she made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut with musical guest Sombr.
Glaser’s 2024 was a coronation. She was named Comedian of the Year by The New York Times and landed on the TIME100: The Most Influential People of 2025 list.
She’s also coming for the big screen. Glaser is set to star alongside Kim Kardashian in Eva Longoria’s Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel, written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. She’s also co-writing, producing, and starring in a Paramount Pictures comedy inspired by the classic game MASH. In this Sliding Doors-style spin, a woman discovers that her childhood MASH predictions magically come true. And that dream life? It’s not what she thought. Another romantic comedy is on deck at Universal Pictures, with Judd Apatow producing and Glaser taking the lead both on-screen and behind the scenes.
David Spade Still Reigns as Comedy’s Coolest Cynic
David Spade has long been comedy’s stealth weapon. A fixture since his early days on Saturday Night Live, he made sarcasm an art form and turned deadpan into a lifestyle. His role as Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me earned him nominations from the Emmys, Golden Globes, and the American Comedy Awards. He’s still swinging, and he’s still sharp.
In May 2025, Spade released his latest stand-up special, Dandelion, on Amazon Prime Video. The set is pure Spade—no gimmicks, no pandering, just a mic and the kind of punchlines that sneak up on you and leave a mark. He’s been on tour ever since, selling out theaters across the country.
Behind the scenes, Spade recently wrapped production on BusyBoys, a film he co-wrote, co-produced, and stars in alongside comic Theo Von. On the podcast front, he’s co-hosting the hit show Fly on the Wall with fellow SNL alum Dana Carvey.
Fly on the Wall isn’t your typical nostalgia pod. It’s an insider’s look at SNL lore, peppered with untold stories and candid conversations with legends like Sir Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Lorne Michaels, and Maya Rudolph. The podcast debuted at number one in the Comedy category, earned a Podcast of the Year nomination at the 2023 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards, and won Best Comedy Podcast in 2025. New episodes drop every Monday and Thursday, wherever you get your podcasts.
The Bottom Line
Glaser and Spade have chemistry that crackles. One delivers no-holds-barred truth bombs, the other lobs effortless zingers with Zen-like calm. Together they’re flipping the Vegas residency script and turning The Colosseum into their comedy playground.
