NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas Originals have released a new collaboration shoe called “SSTR N 2005.” This model will be available at NEIGHBORHOOD stores nationwide starting Saturday, June 22, 2024.
The collaboration commemorates the 35th anniversary of the birth of adidas Originals’ iconic shoe “Superstar,” and is the second installment following the “SSTR N 2024” released in June 2024. The collaboration sneaker “Superstar Vintage,” originally released by adidas Originals and NEIGHBORHOOD in 2005, will be reproduced and released as “SSTR N 2005.”
The “SSTR N 2005” faithfully reproduces the original details, including the eight shoelace holes, silhouette, and texture. The upper is made of matte black cow leather with contrasting white stitching, while the lining and sock liner are made of high-quality leather. The NEIGHBORHOOD logo and iconic skull graphics are embossed on the shoe. The heel patch has been updated from the previous “Ishiki” design to “Nishiki.” In addition to the original logo shoe jewelry, two types of shoelaces are included: white and wide.
The Neighborhood x Adidas Originals “SSTR N 2005” will be priced at 24,200 yen and released on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM. It will be available at NEIGHBORHOOD and HOODS stores nationwide in Japan, as well as on the NEIGHBORHOOD Online Store.
