Upcoming Event: Late Night at Zurich’s Museums

follow us on Google News

On the “Late Night at Zurich’s Museums”, numerous institutions show themselves in a different light and give visitors the opportunity to experience the exhibitions from a completely new perspective. For example, at Zurich Zoo many animals are only active at night – and a visit to the cemetery or the Moulage Museum is all the more creepy at this late hour. The Urania Observatory is particularly spectacular in the dark, and playing football at the FIFA Museum at this time in the evening makes an exciting change.

Besides the many exhibitions and collections, some museums offer games, activities or culinary delights. With a special combined ticket, visitors have admission to all the participating museums and also travel from one museum to the next for free – with a VBZ shuttle bus, a bicycle from “Züri rollt” or the museum ferry, MS Sentosa.

Tickets for the event are also available starting from September 1, 2021 at the counters of the Tourist Information, at Zurich Main Station.

Transportation

VBZ will again be operating six shuttle lines and the museum tram for you. The antique bus of the Tram Museum is also back on its route.

Here you find a map of all museum bus shuttles as well as the museum tram and bus.

During the Long Night, bicycles can be hired free of charge with the combi-ticket at the “Zürirollt” bicycle stations.

The bicycle stations at the Europaplatz and at Bahnhof Enge remain open until Sunday, 8 September 2019, 02:00. The Globus bicycle station is open until midnight.
