The grand opening ceremony of teamLab SuperNature Macao, a permanent interactive art experience located at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo, took place on May 26. This marked the official launch of the landmark project presented by The Venetian Macao and Tokyo-based international art collective teamLab.
To enhance the visitor experience and commemorate this special occasion, three new artwork spaces, namely Floating Flower Garden: Flowers and I are of the Same Root, the Garden and I are One and Massless Clouds Between Sculpture and Life, along with EN TEA HOUSE, will be accessible starting from June 1. These additions aim to bring greater surprise and elevate the overall visitor experience. Furthermore, the Light Sculpture series will undergo a significant renewal, and Autonomous Abstraction, Continuous Phenomena from the Universe to the Self will replace the existing Life is the Light that Resonates in the Dark.
The grand opening ceremony of teamLab SuperNature Macao witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals including Dr. Wilfred Wong, President of Sands China Ltd.; Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office; Cheang Kai Meng, Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Yang Yi, Deputy Director of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Elaine Wong, Senior Manager of the Promotional Activities and Development of Conventions and Exhibitions Department of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute; Grant Chum, Chief Operating Officer of Sands China Ltd.; and Toshiyuki Inoko, founder of teamLab.
