After a sensational debut in late May, Les Amours de Carmen Wong is back for two encore performances at The Peninsula Hong Kong – complete with fine-dining flair at two of the city’s most celebrated culinary institutions. Presented in partnership with the French May Arts Festival, this operatic reimagining of Bizet’s classic Carmen fuses East and West, transporting the story of the headstrong femme fatale to 1960s–70s Hong Kong.

Performed by a stellar cast including tenor Chen Yong, mezzo-soprano Ashley Chui, soprano Etta Fung, and baritone Isaac Droscha, the production returns for two exclusive evenings in July and September 2025.

Highlights include Traditional Beef Tartare with Baerii Caviar and Quail Eggs, and mains like Wild Sea Bass with Beluga Caviar and Bouillabaisse Sauce or Miéral Pigeon with Girolle Mushrooms and Green Peas à la Française. Fine wine pairings curated by Chef Sommelier Marc Le Gallic elevate the evening to true indulgence.

Each performance experience is priced at HK$4,800 per person (plus 10% service charge) and reservations are essential. Guests booking both evenings enjoy a 10% discount.
