The Peninsula Bangkok is particularly delighted to offer magical pursuits for families during Christmas. The hotel’s Advent Calendar Evenings, held every night from December 1 to 24, feature the opening of a new window on the magnificent two-meter-tall advent calendar in The Lobby. These joyful gatherings at 5:00 pm reveal chocolates, candies, and toys for children, and adults can enjoy glühwein (mulled wine). Characters from the advent calendar’s whimsical illustrations, including the Reindeer, the Red Robin, the Gingerbread Man, the Nutcracker, and Santa Claus, make appearances.

The hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea is specially tailored for children during the holiday season. Held in The Lobby restaurant against the backdrop of an 18-foot-tall Canadian spruce tree, the Festive Afternoon Tea features traditional savory and sweet delights. A portion of proceeds from each sale is donated to The Mirror Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and empowering the indigenous hill tribes of Northern Thailand. The tea is served daily between 2:00 and 6:00 pm from December 1 to 30.
