Dior’s Golden Bamboo Pavilion is the Ultimate Reason to Check Into Palace Hotel Tokyo

Palace Hotel Tokyo is officially leaning into its fashion credentials. As the only Japanese brand hotel to hold the industry’s most prestigious double honors, five Forbes Travel Guide stars and three Michelin Guide keys, the property has launched a high-end collaboration to mark the arrival of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion. This exclusive experience celebrates the storied artistic bond between the French fashion house and Japan.

The Daikanyama Connection

The Dior Bamboo Pavilion stands as a glittering new landmark in the ultra chic Daikanyama neighborhood. Designed as a one of a kind concept store, the building pays tribute to Christian Dior’s obsession with the natural world. While the structure captures the spirit of the brand’s legendary home at 30 Avenue Montaigne, its exterior is distinctly local. The golden aluminum façade takes its cues from Japanese bamboo forests and glows brilliantly under the city lights each night.

Inside, the atmosphere blends modern Parisian style with master level Japanese craftsmanship. Visitors can browse Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s newest collections, including specific limited edition pieces found nowhere else but this Pavilion. The experience continues outdoors in a conceptual garden designed by Seijun Nishihata, where the greenery serves as a physical representation of French and Japanese creativity intertwined.

The “A Touch of Dior” Experience

For those looking to immerse themselves in the brand, the “A Touch of Dior at Palace Hotel Tokyo” stay package offers a curated journey through March 31, 2027. Guests can choose from a Club Deluxe with Balcony room, an Executive Suite, or a Premier Suite for their one night stay. To maximize the luxury, the hotel provides early check in starting at 1:00 pm along with full Club Lounge privileges.

The attention to detail begins in the guest room, which features a Dior inspired floral arrangement and a box of “Les Bonbons Bouton de Christian Dior” chocolates. A chilled bottle of Champagne awaits upon arrival, with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut served in Club rooms and Ruinart Blanc de Blancs reserved for suites. Breakfast is a flexible affair, available at the Club Lounge, Grand Kitchen, or delivered directly to the room.

Cocktails and Fine Dining

The collaboration extends to the hotel’s sophisticated bars. At Lounge Bar Privé or The Palace Lounge, guests can sip the “Miss Dior” cocktail. This silky drink blends the star anise notes of Pernod with the sweet almond flavor of orgeat, offering a perfect accompaniment to views of the Imperial Palace gardens.

The package also includes a privately guided tour of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion with a one way private transfer from the hotel. The highlight for foodies is a reserved seating at Café Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic. The world’s most Michelin starred female chef has crafted an exclusive seasonal menu for Palace Hotel Tokyo guests. The light meal features a soup, a sandwich and salad, a choice of desserts, and coffee or tea, all served within the Pavilion’s botanical sanctuary during a ninety minute seating.
