Standing tall in Bangkok’s trendy On Nut neighborhood, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit has unveiled a diverse array of facilities, ranging from integrated co-working spaces to an awe-inspiring transparent infinity pool and a rooftop tapas bar. This 208-room hotel, soaring to 34 floors, marked its grand opening in July. It proudly claims the title of Thailand’s first ‘INNSiDE by Meliá’ establishment and is the fourth entry from Meliá Hotels International in the kingdom. This follows the maritime-themed Meliá Koh Samui, wellness-centric Meliá Phuket Mai Khao, and the urban gem Meliá Chiang Mai, which debuted in 2020, 2021, and 2022, respectively.

Three diverse food and beverage outlets enhance the hotel’s dynamic dining experience. The crowning jewel of the hotel, the awe-inspiring infinity pool, is accompanied by The Giant Swing Pool Bar on the 34th floor. Nestled between the bar and the pool, it presents a contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s iconic Brahman structure, The Giant Swing, offering a dramatic backdrop for photos.

Adjacent to the infinity pool is a sprawling rooftop terrace, dotted with outdoor lounges and sunbeds, exuding an Ibiza vibe, complemented by panoramic views. Operating from 10 am to midnight, the open-air pool bar serves a delectable array of Mediterranean, Thai, and international snacks, including the signature INNSiDE’s Burger, along with inventive cocktails.

By night, the pool bar transforms into an upper-level extension of the hotel’s 33rd floor LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar. This inviting spot offers authentic tapas, Spanish wines, draft beer, cocktails, and signature sangrias. Chef de Cuisine Laia Ferrer brings a touch of Barcelona with a dynamic fusion of local Thai ingredients enhanced by Spanish flavors. The uniqueness of the tapas bar is further accentuated by the fact that guests can gaze into the depths of the infinity pool, creating a spectacle unlike any other in Bangkok.

Drawing inspiration from its Spanish heritage and celebrating Spain’s gastronomy, the hotel’s dining offerings also embrace local roots with vibrant Thai cuisine. At the all-day dining venue “The Kites Eatery,” open from 6.30 am to 11 pm, chefs whip up central, northern, north-eastern, and southern Thai dishes using locally sourced ingredients. The chic setting of The Kites Eatery features graphic glass walls depicting Sanam Luang state park and offers breathtaking views of Bangkok. The venue serves a hearty buffet breakfast, an à la carte menu from noon, as well as custom lunches and banquets for meetings and events. Dishes not to be missed include Kites Pad Thai and Kites Satay.

A trendy café and lobby bar, seamlessly integrated into the 32nd-floor co-working space, The Open Living Lounge, operates from 7 am to 11 pm. It offers a convenient grab-and-go menu and specializes in both Thai and Western comfort food. With roaming drink trolleys, The Open Living Lounge provides a wide range of options, including barista coffee, morning pastries, cold-pressed juices, kombucha, and a Spanish afternoon tea. The lounge’s design draws inspiration from another iconic Bangkok landmark, Wat Phra Kaew, incorporating elements such as a golden counter inspired by the traditional Thai decorations gilded in gold leaf at Wat Phra Kaew.
