The Fusion Hotel Group, a fully integrated hospitality and management company based in Vietnam, has announced the launch of HIIVE Hotels. They have specifically designed these hotels for business travelers who frequent industrial and logistic hubs. The brand’s Southeast Asia debut will take place in August with the opening of HIIVE Binh Duong.

Located in Thuan An, Binh Duong, HIIVE Binh Duong offers 172 rooms and boasts a convenient position in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park 1 (VSIP 1). It is in close proximity to Aeon Mall, Song Be Golf Resort, and just an hour’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City’s international airport.

The HIIVE hotel is designed to cater to both work and leisure travel. It features spacious rooms suitable for extended stays, flexible meeting rooms, co-working spaces, an all-day dining restaurant, a sports bar, a golf simulator, a 24-hour fitness center, and guest laundry facilities on every floor.

Christopher Hur, President of Lodgis Hospitality Holdings Pte. Ltd., the parent company of Fusion, mentioned, “Vietnam has seen a steady increase in foreign investment and business travel, and Binh Duong has quickly emerged as a major manufacturing hub near Ho Chi Minh City. With the growing demand for international service standards and accommodations, HIIVE is perfectly positioned to meet these needs. Our goal is to establish HIIVE as the preferred hotel for today’s regional business traveler.”

The 11-floor HIIVE Binh Duong hotel offers plenty of natural lighting and contemporary design with vibrant colors. The common areas have a stylish industrial ambiance, while the rooms feature softer and more neutral tones.

Peter Meyer, CEO of Lodgis and Fusion Hotel Group, explained, “In a time when work and play blend together, we wanted to create spaces that cater to both needs.”

The hotel provides three meeting rooms equipped with whiteboard walls, flexible layouts, and modern audio-visual technology. These spaces can accommodate small groups and up to 100 people in the largest room. Co-working spaces range from private areas for focused work to communal spaces encouraging guest interaction.

Guests have the option to indulge in regional Vietnamese cuisine at Zest Restaurant or enjoy the Dzo Dzo Sports Bar, which offers large flat-screen TVs, a billiards table, dart board, and a selection of craft beers, cocktails, and bar snacks.

For golf enthusiasts, the hotel offers a state-of-the-art golf simulator where players can experience 72 renowned golf courses. Additionally, there is a modern 24-hour gym equipped with cardio machines, weights, and yoga equipment.

The hotel offers five room categories. The entry-level Superior rooms cover an area of 26m² and include a comfortable king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a dedicated workspace. The majority of the rooms fall under the Deluxe category, which offers 38m² of space and includes a living area. The Premium Deluxe rooms come with a bathtub and a private balcony. The Suites, with 50m² of space, are ideal for long-stay guests and feature a fully equipped kitchenette and a separate living room.

The rooms incorporate energy management solutions to monitor and automate the room environment. They also have reflective window coverings and heat-proofing to maintain consistent internal temperatures. Other eco-friendly features include LED lighting, water-efficient sanitary ware, and the use of renewable materials for interior finishes.

Peter Meyer emphasized the importance of sustainability, stating, “As Fusion continues to expand, we remain committed to sustainability in all our new properties. Furthermore, we are implementing standardized practices across all HIIVE hotels to manage and reduce our local and long-term impact on the communities in which we operate. The installation of a centralized water filtration system with refill stations helps to eliminate plastic bottle waste, reduce operational costs, and promote the well-being of our employees and guests.”

The second HIIVE hotel, HIIVE Binh Duong New City (VSIP 2), is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024.

Room rates at HIIVE Binh Duong start at US$85 per night. For more information, please visit www.binhduong.hiivehotels.com.
