Experience Amsterdam’s ‘The White Room’ at Oman’s Anantara Resorts with Chef Tristan de Boer

Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort and Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara have joined forces with Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky-Amsterdam to offer an extraordinary culinary experience in Oman. Chef Tristan de Boer from the famous Amsterdam restaurant ‘The White Room’ by Jacob Jan Boerma will bring his refined flavors to Oman in April and May 2023.

With a rich history dating back to 1885, ‘The White Room’ is one of Amsterdam’s oldest restaurants. Chef Tristan de Boer, who leads the kitchen of this Michelin-starred establishment, will showcase his exceptional skills at both of Oman’s Anantara resorts during gala dinners and workshops. Maître d’ Bram Hommes will accompany him to oversee the service for these unforgettable events.

Diners at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort will have the pleasure of savoring Chef Tristan’s creations on April 27th and 28th, 2023. The Al Qalaa restaurant will offer a carefully curated menu from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm each evening, priced at $91.00 per person, including one glass of bubbly.

Chef Tristan will also host two dinners at Al Baleed Salalah Resort by Anantara on April 30th and May 1st, 2023. The Mekong restaurant will serve five courses of fresh seasonal ingredients prepared with Chef Tristan’s individual flair, priced at $91.00 per person, including a glass of bubbly, available from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm on both evenings. Additionally, guests can join Chef Tristan at Sakalan at 12:00 noon on May 1st for a workshop where he will demonstrate the techniques he uses to create his delectable dishes. He will blend influences from Japan, China, Indonesia and Suriname with recipes from his home country, The Netherlands. The workshop is priced at $39.00 per person.
