Located on Chaweng beach, the new extension of Mercure Samui Chaweng Beach Tana offers direct access to the soft, sparkling sands and scenic blue waters surrounding the island. The hotel infuses lively design with the distinct character of Koh Samui. The colorful open-air lobby is inspired by the former fisherman village of the island with boat-shaped sofas mimicking local fisherman boats, while the wall lamps reminisce the traditional bamboo fish traps.

The resort also offers two Poolside Villas and one Beachfront Villa with a private pool. The unique interiors feature wooden elements, a natural palette, and turquoise blue color tones, offering a contemporary Thai beach resort vibe to complement the location.

The new dining experience at Mercure Samui Chaweng Beach Tana includes a cozy beach bar, Carpe Diem, where islanders can enjoy beach-inspired cocktails and light snacks. The al-fresco rooftop bar, La Moon, is a romantic spot for sundown cocktails, post-dinner beverages, and fusion tapas. Guests are invited to count the stars in Koh Samui’s sky while sipping the signature cocktails, inspired by the name of each star. Local rum is used as the main ingredient in the signature cocktails for a local touch. The all-day dining restaurant, Cielo, serves up local and international menus.

Set amongst the seaside leafy palm trees in the center of the resort is a vast outdoor swimming pool overlooking the ocean.
