2021 is a year to refresh your beauty lineup.  From haircare to skincare must-haves, these are the best beauty products that I have used over the years.  The best of the best mascara.  A good moisturizer.  A good face serum.  A must-have hand cream.  An ultimate travel carry-on item.

SK-II Mid-Day Essence Spray

A hydrating face mist that penetrates through makeup and locks in moistures for refresh, dewy skin on-the-go.  I used this when traveling especially on the airplane.  It is very effective and does its job to keep you face moist and refresh throughout the day.  A must-have product to avoid dry airplane skin.  This is the first item I pack when traveling.

Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Feline Blacks Waterproof

Created by Helena Rubinstein, Lash Queen Feline Blacks is a lengthening mascara that offers a new dimension in long eyelashes.  The brush tames lashes with precision.  Its lash separating bristles ensure that the mascara is evenly distributed for perfectly defined lashes.  This is by far the best mascara and I have been using this product for many years.  It works wonders especially for Asian eyelashes.  It lasts all day long, no smudging or flaking and also buildable without the product starting to thicken.

Sabon Ultimate Scalp Scrub

The scrub is enriched with dead sea salts to remove dead skin cells, toxins and impurities from the scalp’s surface.  In addition, the product has three botanical oils in the formula such as marula, camellia and abyssinian.  The scrub feels amazing when you use it and not harsh on your hair.  This is a must have for those who experienced harsh water that causing dandruff on the scalp.

Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask from Fresh

A 2-step mask that delivers continuous hydration overnight for supple, dewy skin.  The mask is has three main ingredients: rosewater, rose, and hyaluronic acid.  The rosewater helps comfort the skin.  The damask rose extract hydrates, smoothes, and helps strengthen the skin’s barrier.  The hyaluronic acid enhances suppleness with a plumping effect.  After cleansing, apply the amber-colored gel essence to your face and let it absorb.  Immediately follow with the silky water-cream mask.  Leave on overnight.

I used this mask nightly before going to bed, the texture is light and doesn’t clog my pores.  My skin is moisturized when waking up in the morning.  A great product that makes your skin soft and dewy.  This is my third jar after making recommendation.

Kose Sekkisei Clear Whitening Mask

A peel-off mask that removes blackhead and dead skin cells, controls sebum and refines pores, and improves overall skin clarity.  The mask is made of herbal ingredients such as oix seed extract, angelica extract, melothria extract, Chinese quince extract, and red oolong tea extract.

Take about 1 inch from the tube at a time and apply a thick even layer to clean skin, avoiding the hairline, eye, and lip area.  Wait 20 minutes or until completely dry, peel off gently from outer edges and rinse off any residue.  Used once or twice a week.

The mask removes my whiteheads and refine my pores upon the first usage.  The whitening effect seems to work, though it is subtle.  This mask is best used for white heads and dead skins.  The texture of this mask is dense but easy to spread out to form a thin layer on your skin.  Another product that I have been using for many years now.

Sabon hand cream – White Tea

A multi-action hand cream features a lightweight, non-greasy and fast-absorbing texture.  The cream is enriched with pure shea butter and aloe vera to moisturize hands.  The hand cream moisturizes without leaving a greasy feeling and the white tea smells heavenly.  White tea is one of my favorite scent from Sabon.  I love how my hands feel after using this cream.

Rose Deep Hydration Oil-infused serum from Fresh

Fresh’s first-ever oil-infused liquid serum created to liver 24-hour deep hydration for dewy skin.  With a few shakes, two potent phases transform into a silky serum, balancing water and oil to give thirsty skin exactly what it needs.  With rosewater, damask rose, and lightweight oils including plant-derived squalane, it deeply hydrates without a greasy finish.  After using the product, I did noticed the serum smoothed the texture of the skin and definitely felt more hydrated.  The serum absorbed well in my skin without feeling greasy or heavy like other serums I used in the past.  The light floral scent is a plus!

L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream

A moisturizer known for its anti-aging properties, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and firm your skin.  I have combination skin, and this product helps the skin feeling hydrated.  The creamy texture absorbed easily into the skin without leaving the skin feel greasy.  The product has also reduced fine lines and I did see my skin tone is more even and luminous.  One thing I noticed after using two jars is the firming effect on my skin.

L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Eye Cream

The eye cream is a must when using with L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream to get the full benefits.  Not only the product brightened up my under eye area, it also filled in fine lines.  The cream is light and  absorbed quickly.  The fine lines definitely softened and looked more hydrated.  It is one of the best eye creams out there and well worth the money.
