The menu at Retro by Voltaggio will offer innovative twists on classic dishes like Caesar Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, Pot Roast, and Lobster Thermidor, all featuring unique flavor combinations and presented in shareable portions. The dining experience will be further elevated with a specially crafted cocktail list, lively entertainment, hand-selected art pieces, and an exclusive soundtrack of hit music from the 80s and 90s, all conceptualized by the celebrity chef duo. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind dining destination, only available at Retro by Voltaggio.

Further information about Retro by Voltaggio will be made available in the near future. The restaurant will be occupying the former space of Chef Charlie Palmer’s Aureole, which will be closing in the upcoming months as Palmer shifts his focus to new endeavors.

As he moves forward, Chef Palmer will concentrate on expanding his co-founded brand, Appellation, which is a collection of hotels that prioritize cuisine, with new locations opening in California and Idaho. He will also give attention to Charlie Palmer Collective, his extensive range of restaurants throughout the country.

Renowned chefs Bryan and Michael Voltaggio, hailing from Frederick, MD, are renowned for their innovative cooking and family-first approach to cuisine. The sibling rivalry between the two caught the attention of audiences during their appearance on the Emmy award-winning seasons of Bravo’s Top Chef, where Michael emerged as the winner of Season 6, while Bryan placed second. The brothers then teamed up to establish a thriving restaurant empire, including Estuary, a modern seafood restaurant located at CityCenterDC’s Conrad hotel, and Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, a fine-dining steakhouse at MGM National Harbor.

The Voltaggios are frequent fixtures on the Food Network, appearing on a variety of programs as judges, hosts, and competitors. They continue to inspire and challenge the culinary world both on and off camera.
